    I'm wondering if that clip we got with the drop D riff, jazz chords and DRONES is actually the song Drones, and whether it may actually be from Dead Inside and that Drones is just the constant theme throughout the album and what's used to keep it cohesive, just because it sounds like more of an opener than a closer. Of course my theory could be well wrong but eh

    Anyone know if they're still taking orders that can be shipped out in the near future? Or whether i'd have to wait a few months? Decided I might pick one up with a sustainer in it as I'm gonna buy an Axe Fx and fuck it, I've got money left so why not pick up one of these as well

    I like the sound of the Axe Fx in all honesty, I've seen a lot of people talk about the Kemper but I think the Axe Fx is a better all round unit, even if the Kemper's amps are better. I probably won't be using it through an amp as it would be straight into a laptop for recording and most likely into a PA for live shows. I just don't know whether it's worth paying the money and then the extra for the MIDI floor board and rack case etc

    hm yeah that's true, their timeline points towards perhaps a newer model next year - only thing is the Axe Fx is just so easy to use and it would be awesome for the recording stuff i've got coming up

    I'm so torn between what to do to be honest, they'd both total about the same amount of $$$ and on one hand i'd love another Manson but on the other hand the Axe Fx is such an awesome piece of kit

    I just use my Big Muff Nano For Assassin over an overdrive pedal, and then turn off the fuzz for the verses

    I was trying (admittedly failing) to not get too hyped for this album but after all this new info and yesterdays clip it is done i am hyped

    I'd like to think he's improved his delivery even more to be honest, he still sounded great at the end of last tour but it would be cool to think perhaps he'll use more vocal techniques he used a lot earlier on in that more honed technique he has now

    Uprising wasn't so direct though really, it as pretty vague as to who "they" were that matt was talking about. Maybe he means this one as a more direct, to the point way of being offensive without being derogatory

    that's what i've been thinking - he tweeted all those links calling world leaders psyopaths and tweeted that it was the first singles theme "Single 1 theme" and then said it was too offensive for radio, so he probably just means that the lyrical content demeans world leaders in a way that wouldn't be played on radio - rather than lots of fucks and the sort

    It's not really loud or wild - it's got a very classical feel to it, it's tremolo picked so that might be where people are getting the New Born comparisons from - all the same it's quite an awesome melody

    Yeah i'm really wanting to switch to a digital setup but I just don't have the money at the moment haha. How would you rate it against the Axe FX? (if you've tried it of course)

    Definitely, his voice sounds a little more strained these days but that's only down to the vast amounts of touring Muse have done since they started out. His range has certainly increased and he exhibits way better control over it live nowadays.

    the last two albums still featured madness/undisclosed desires/survival/resistance/i belong to you like lyrics and the songs that featured conspiracy like lyrics were generally better - uprising/mk ultra/animals
