  1. i don't see anything wrong with his voice in the performance from 2007 at all tbh but yes a DVD of Wembley 2012 Night 2 would've been their best decision for a live release ever, shame they don't have good ideas about that stuff lately
  2. I agree with this, Follow Me was one of the high points when I saw them live this tour, not just because of the lasers etc, but it sounds massive, on the album it's way too smooth and way too polished. Favourite performances of it were definitely the videos of matt playing the guitar during though, especially at taratata
  3. 20 Song Shuffle gig Sing for Absolution Unnatural Selection Falling Away With You MK Ultra Bliss Animals Fury Glorious Shrinking Universe KoC Exo Part 2 Futurism Apocalypse Please Sunburn Stockholm Syndrome Hyper Chondriac Music Isolated System The Small Print Uno Resistance *puts them in a better order* Isolated System Mk Ultra Uno Shrinking Universe Fury Futurism Animals Glorious Apocalypse Please Sunburn Exo Part 2 Sing For Absolution Falling Away With You Resistance Bliss Hyper Chondriac Music The Small Print Unnatural Selection Stockholm Syndrome Knights of Cydonia would make for a good gig songwise but flow wise it's fucked

  5. Sing for Absolution is one of my favourite live songs especially when Matt actually belts the "and our souls" line Love the V Festival 2004 performance and the Wembley performance
  6. Black Holes Era Setlist Close Encounters Riff - Knights of Cydonia - Space Dementia Outro Hysteria Supermassive Black Hole Map of the Problematique - Maggies Farm Riff City of Delusion Dead Star Butterflies and Hurricanes Citizen Erased Apocalypse Please Hoodoo Sunburn Fury Invincible Starlight Crying Shame Lil Blues Jam from HAARP - Time Is Running Out New Born - Headup Riff Sing for Absolution Blackout - Matt on guitar of course Bliss extended Plug In Baby Micro Cuts Stockholm Syndrome - couple o' riffs Take a Bow
  7. omg muse and eminem collaborating would be absolutely dreadful matt trying to rap would be hilarious
  8. I agree - I felt the guitar tones for Uprising, Knights of Cydonia, Butterflies and Hurricanes, Supremacy, Survival, Unnatural Selection, TiRO, were beefy as fuck and fantastic - side note i also love the fuzz tone Matt has for the Madness solo But Hysteria was so weak, even Chris' bass tone was weak and it just sounded a shadow of the performances i've seen on youtube of the Absolution tour, even a shadow of itself on TR tour, which wasn't overly powerful as much as I prefer UD with the keytar I actually liked the barrier walk I found it amusing when Matt put on hats or glasses from the crowd and it gave the show a more fun aspect, also Follow Me was decent with Matt just singing, if only Morgan's guitar playing had been more audible but yeah Starlight in any position on the setlist this tour was shit
  9. anything and everything related to neutron star collision the actors during t2l tour people who yelled "the twilight song!" a couple rows back from me when SMBH was played in 2010 at the sydney gig - likewise at both sydney gigs i went to in 2010 and 2013 half the people surrounding me not knowing B&H made me feel ashamed. I literally screamed when the glasto riff started and the guy next to me was like "a new song???" and i said no Butterflies and Hurricanes and he just looked at me confused and said "what's that?"
  10. Starlight really is very drab live now, lacks the power it had back in 2006. It was honestly decent on TR tour, not amazing but it was decent, not as weak as it is now. It was quite interesting that some of Matt's tones - TiRO, Dead Star, Supremacy, Unnatural Selection, Hyper Music, even Uprising tbh were really good, yet some - Hysteria in particular were awful. Would not mind seeing Hysteria get given a break if it was replaced with something like Assassin or MK Ultra but the likelihood of that happening is like nothing
  11. would probably actually be so good live tbh
  12. Fury Take a Bow City of Delusion Assassin (preferably DMG version) Hyper Music so hard just to pick 5 to be honest as MK Ultra, Showbiz, Micro Cuts, Dead Star and Citizen Erased would all be amazing to hear live too
  13. What's He Building In There Intro Supremacy Supermassive Black Hole Map of the Problematique - Who Knows Who Riff Hysteria Invincible (I love this song ok) Fury Assassin DMG Version Citizen Erased Sunburn Hoodoo Space Dementia Bliss extended w falsetto Time is Running Out City of Delusion Knights Of Cydonia Dead Star Micro Cuts Stockholm Syndrome Agitated - Freedom riff Take A Bow Plug In Baby Showbiz
  14. Muse have always had great openers, I've gotta say all of them are songs I love. Take a Bow and Uprising are my favourites though, they're a little darker, and really in your face. New Born's a favourite too. If you're talking about which songs could have potentially been openers, I've always thought TSP or maybe even Fury could've been a cool opener for Absolution, Unsustainable could've worked as an album opener for The 2nd Law, having Unsustainable open and Isolated System close the album would've been a cool idea.
  15. Tbh i really do feel like BH&R is the bands best album,as a whole, other than maybe Origin of Symmetry. It's consistently good throughout. Sure Soldiers Poem may be a little dreary for some, and Assassin isn't as powerful on the album but Take a Bow, Supermassive Black Hole, Map of the Problematique, Invincible, Assassin, Exo-Politics (i don't get the hate towards it), City of Delusion, Hoodoo and Knights of Cydonia are absolute quality in my opinion and Starlight is as quality as "incredibly radio friendly" Muse is gonna get, even if it has recently turned to shit live. Showbiz for me was hit and miss, Absolution's production quality makes the album versions incredibly lacklustre compared to the monstrous amazingness of their live versions, The Resistance was eh and The 2nd Law had too many drop off points between good songs. Black Holes and Revelations to me is their best complete album and one that I can time and time again listen to all the way through or just as single songs, and have been able to since I first heard it in '08. Again, this is probably other than Origin of Symmetry which is honestly just fucking incredible in every aspect, yes even the Feeling Good cover.
