  1. Remember when Wembley 2010 was officially 'Coming Soon'?
  2. They seem to be working on the concept of my old custom that the less wood there is, the more it costs.
  3. Once Chris gets going, you can barely hear the guitar anyway to be honest. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a57h9TNQHF0 The guitar on its own would sound better on the 7 string in my opinion, but it might be a conscious decision to not cross over too much into the sound of the bass or something, and with them both going together, it probably doesn't make much difference.
  4. I've got to be honest, I've always thought that Execution Commentary is terrible, haha! It's one of the few b-sides I've actually got rid of on my computer. I could never really take it seriously somehow. Anyway, just having a run through BHAR and been suitably reminded how awesome City Of Delusion is. Always loved it anyway, but haven't listened to it in a while, and having it blasting out on high volume out of nowhere was a good way to get back into it.
  5. Awesome. That must be pretty insane in that case. Is there a proper video around anywhere? I'm sure they said it would be streaming for people in the UK, but I haven't been able to find anything otherwise as I'm not there anymore. The Muse set was up on YouTube, so I watched that there, but I haven't checked back for Sigur Ros stuff since then.
  6. Yeah, I thought that was a pretty spot on song for the day really. How's the live show as a three-piece? Both times I've seen them, the stage has been packed with about 11 people and instruments all over the place. I can't imagine the songs working anywhere as well in a reduced form. They pulled it off with four because Kjartan was still there, but I'm assuming there must be loads of stuff missing with three.
  7. I only watched on the stream, but I did wonder what the point of it was in the set to be honest. I didn't really help that I couldn't see what was supposedly being 'performed' except for Dom hitting a few bits of percussion and then adjusting his earpieces, and how much was being played over the speakers anyway. Seemed like a bit of a band toilet break otherwise unfortunately. Shame as I love the song, just not sure what it's supposed to be doing in the live set at the moment. Conversely, I don't care at all for Drones (the song), but it worked really well with the visuals to close out The Globalist at the end of the main set.
  8. Cheers for that. I'd have had to wake up at 5am here to watch it live, and I was just too tired. The Reapers visuals remind me a lot of Wheatley from Portal 2. Edit - Just got to The Globalist. Bloody hell, what a day to be singing that outro.
  9. Haven't followed what Twin Atlantic have been up to for a while to be honest. I saw them live twice as a support act in 2009 and 2010 and still have Vivarium in my iTunes, as I enjoyed them really, but never got into Free and stopped paying attention after that. The first album is still a good one though.
  10. It was an accident, haha! It was only a small chip in the lacquer, and easily repaired in the end, so no harm done!
  11. Shame Assassin is still only the shorter version though.
  12. Oh, man, I thought the day would never come. So glad I just saw this. Listening to some of the previews now, and they definitely sound better. Going to have to try and get some of these. If only Hullabaloo Soundtrack was on there and I could get my beloved Hyper Chondriac Music as well, but everything else is on there. Sounds great anyway. Damn it, Muse! Edit - Absolution seems the most noticeably improved to me?
  13. I can almost tolerate it straight after Citizen Erased, haha! It's almost like "Okay, I've had my fun, back to reality!" It's always a big crowd pleaser anyway so I wouldn't expect it to disappear for too long at once really.
  14. For what it's worth, MWAH sounded huge the other night. KOC at Wembley was still probably the best I've seen for the actual song, but I don't think I've ever heard MWAH sound as good as that. Might have just been the way the sound for the guitar was set up or something, though I did miss some of the old whammy bar harmonics in the older ones.
  15. Matt said last night that they were "bringing it back from the dead", so hopefully that means it's here to stay for people who haven't heard it yet. I've heard it twice in the three shows I've been to, which I'm very thankful for. Always been one of their best songs.
  16. From what I remember, they came on at about 9.30pm and finished at about 11.15pm, which is fairly standard length for a normal Muse show I guess, if that helps? Just a lot of well-known songs in there.
  17. Think I just assumed they'd play SS as it was played at both of the last two shows in China, but we got Uprising instead. On balance, I'd have preferred SS as it's always a great song live, but I can't complain too much. The performances at least were top notch, and I enjoyed the show overall. Thought The Handler or Defector might get another showing with it being the full album tour now, but it was they first time they'd played here apparently so they might have prioritised some songs like TIRO based on that.
  18. James, it was about £80 each in the end, but now it's done, I'm still glad I went. Had a great time, and was really pleased to see Citizen Erased again. Psycho is a cracking live opener too, as much as I've almost totally ignored it as an album song. I'm knackered now anyway (as you should be after a Muse show), so I'm looking forward to getting some sleep, haha!
