  1. I think it keeps things interesting and adds cred.
  2. Completely agree. I burst out laughing when I saw cardboard Charles. Amazing job considering the time frame and the amount of content to sort through. Actually stopped to read all the credits to see I recognized any of the names. Quite a few who didn't give their full name, and thought it was funny that there were three Julie with no last names on there. Can you imagine being one of those three going - am I the first one listed or the last one? Absolutely loved this video and the project. Good job Kirk & Bennett & all those lovely fans!
  3. All this twitter activity is awesome! I would love it if Charles could make it to the US. Dude, I'd smuggle him in through Canada. Loved little Ringoid and the face that Mr. Kirk can fill up a text file wonderfully. The only thing that drives me crazy is that most of this happens when I'm at work, and I'm not supposed to play with my phone. Plus, didn't take a damn lunch break on Thursday. Can't wait til their back from Europe.
  4. I love this interview. A little bit of everything, but the 'fuck' part made me laugh.
  5. Come on. If they can make zombies sexy, they can do wonders for F1 racing!
  6. What if they took 5 seconds from each video? That'd make a DVD.
  7. You're just like the Star Tribune!! Okay. So, besides music, what are you interested in?
  8. Maybe 460,000 range? I love this project. It's inventive and unpredictable. Besides pro-shots, what do you wish they'd give us?
  9. Yes, I write quite a bit of poetry. Some here, some on my blog, and some simply on paper.

    No worries. Take your time.

  10. Okay. So, what do you want to be rewarded with? *Be very, very specific.
  11. If I understand correctly, 98% of the time - it's hard work, long hours, extensive travel, etc., but it's worth it for those rare moments. Just curious about the numbers. Why only 2%? Nice interview though.
  12. I concur. Great interview. I think the forgetting comes from losing connection with fans. If they're in front of you, it's easy to see what works and what doesn't. When not touring, they lose that connection, and when in studio, they slip into a cocoon. I think he'd remember if he got a batch of musers in studio. Of course, I can't think of three musers who agree on anything relating to music.
  13. copyright...ugh. I don't want to think about work, but it might be hard to claim copyright unless the original was a full 3D design. Dude, wish I was going to Paris, because dying to know what's going to happen with all the twitter hints and the video requests.
  14. How much to ship to the middle of nowhere America?
  15. Been thinking about this for awhile now, but liked the idea of the Charles photos on fb - popping up in different places. Due to the size, must be difficult moving around, which made me think of a mini-Charles. Do a sort of "Where in the World is mini-Charles?" and tweeting the photos. They could enter their guesses in for a chance to win a Charles keychain (red-metallic eyes) or a mini-mini-Charles (aka small batch of 3D printing). You know - drum up more popularity on social media, get the younger crowd interested in a challenge, merchandising... Of course, I think too much.
  16. I kind of went a on rant about it, because it reminded me of the two times I've been interviewed by newspaper reporters. One grilled me for an hour and then summed me up in one blurb that focused on a really minor part, and the other I barely said much of anything to, who then wrote the most asinine quote and attributed it to me. Damn Pioneer Press! You suck! The really funny thing was the Star Tribune then picked up the Pioneer Press quote and perverted it even further. I thought about calling them up and correcting it, but it just wasn't worth it. Though, it did give my co-workers something to laugh about.
