  1. I like the lyrics. Reminds me of a softer, more soulful plaintive poem. Appeals to a kid I know in boot camp. Ye Gods - Just about everything that got played in Tokyo today. Going to create a new playlist to get a gist of the wicked gig.
  2. Love this gig!! https://twitter.com/beckaincydonia/status/367252818156994560/photo/1/large https://twitter.com/Dominic_Howard/status/367260565632069633/photo/1/large https://twitter.com/SelPawsUp/status/367261298918043649/photo/1/large
  3. Love this interview and now Matt's garage, and not solely due to being a bit of a gearhead. Though I almost dropped out of my chair after reading 1966 Mustang. Tesla's are sweet, too, but a Lamborghini Aventador? Almost too gorgeous to drive. Way too expensive, especially a J. Still, I could definitely see Matt behind the wheel. Can't imagine a '62 Thunderbird, maybe a topless. Definitely a Route 66 kind of car. Drat. Now, all I want to talk about is engines and model variations. Fun interview though.
  4. Dunno. He seems to know quite a bit about food, and some of the Twitter photos show off some serious culinary skill.
  5. Ack! You were at Helsinki!! Dude! Forget about the Musos. You got Yes Please!! Ugh....took forever to get that damn passport, and I missed it.
  6. I agree - loved this project. Sorry to see it go. If it makes you feel better, I only get two hours of direct sun each day. Yea, youtube doesn't do a performance justice, but I think I watched every version of the Helsinki Yes Please.
  7. I think the presentations are impressive and visually stunning - matches the concept of the album, coherent from beginning to end, and very entertaining. Plus, it's pretty daring completely switching up the stages while on tour. Of course, I adore Charles the most and hope he travels to the US. Hard to imagine him getting in the crowd in an arena, but would be fucking awesome. Always been curious about cost and logistics, and I like that they've talked about it more the last couple of interviews. The more I hear about it, the more impressed I am that they put on such great shows, especially without hiccups and on top of all the other projects they squeeze in - the bank, filming, connecting with fans, etc. In brief - fantastic job this tour.
  8. Cool interview, especially the personal perspectives/beginnings. I like the way Dom interviews - clearcut, amiable, and takes no sass.
  9. Ye gods, you people must be really pale.
  10. On a different note, I think Mr. Bellamy underrates his abilities as a lyricist.
  11. Hey, there was the photos, too, and that vid of Dom in the beginning. Most of the stuff you get first, before it pops up online for the general public. Although, it does have kind of an ironic touch, a play off of how businesses reward their customers. Though, still love this project.
  12. Awesome interview. Like the gambling analogy, and having studied ancient history in college, he does make some good points about stone architecture lasting longer than any other. Damn. If I ever got to interview Mr. Bellamy, I'd make sure drinks were involved. Sounds like a fun conversationalist.
  13. I do almost six hours of transit a day. Tired me out at first, but usually doesn't bother me unless I don't get enough rest. Traveling, on the other hand, I find exciting. Keeps me wired. With all the touring they do, I guess it must get pretty routine and boring after a certain point, but if I got to travel around the world like they do, I'd find a way to keep things interesting - see sites, try new things, get out and about.
  14. The musical influences are impressive. Completely agree about instrumental music and RATM's Freedom. Also liked that the interviewer brought up the guitar tech. I know it's been discussed before, but I find it just as interesting as stage elements. The perfect rock song bit - love it, and the radio voice... Great interview.
  15. I agree I can't believe you actually created this thread off that dare. You've got guts kid. Ditto on the psych value. As uplifting as Starlight is, making you happy as you leave, still had the urge to come back for another concert. Now, I understand why.
  16. Like the shorts better. I hope we get some photos or better from scandinavian country. They've got some beautiful scenery up there.
  17. 2+ in my opinion. I'm going to have to get a bigger flashdrive at this rate. Thank you Muse!!
  18. I agree. Considering how sweet the last reward was, I wonder what they've got up their sleeves next. Love this project.
