    You never know, Matt says a lot of things. I'm sure he realizes they could play it a step down or whatever.

    Someone claimed they met Matt after the gig and asked about Showbiz, and Matt said he doesn't think his voice can go that high anymore.

    Well you don't know that without having heard the album. It could be musically cohesive as well, and maybe the word drones isn't in most of the other songs.

    Yeah this one is much better quality, I just can't seem to hear the guitar in this one as well as I can in the other one.

    Would definitely be interested in hearing an 8+ minute album closer, especially if it ended up being the song with the 7-string riff.

    Did any of you hear the sound check of the new song? Wondering what it sounded like other than possibly "stadiumish."

    People that met them today were told that Muse will be in the U.S. after South America.

    I need to hear more descriptions of the new song. If it is Dead Inside, I hope it lives up to past album openers.

    I've already seen someone post your poll on Facebook, Fabri. Nice job. This is a hard choice. I think I'll go Shrinking Universe just because it's one of the first Muse songs I heard. Not that they would ever play it in the U.S.

    That's a great list. I really want to hear their current take on Shrinking Universe though. I just love the buildup and the falsetto in that song.

    Yeah have they ever done US arenas before EU ones? I would love to see them sooner than expected but also would rather have them play here in December so I could see them without worrying about school.

    Well that's disappointing if true. Did they do that just for the DVD or did they actually playback the final note during the performance itself?

    I was wondering why I couldn't find any reviews of any of the gigs. Why would they not want the press covering this tour?

    Survival's vocals were mostly playback in Rome? This is news to me. Maybe I'm misunderstanding what that means.

    I can see that. I guess I'm glad that they seem to be putting a foot back in the direction of the classic Muse sound. I'm really excited at the prospect of a cohesive album as opposed to a collection of singles.

    I don't mean that Abso+BHaR automatically equals progression. It's those familiar elements combined with new ones that contribute to making the overall feel of the song sound like more of a natural evolution of the Muse sound than most of the stuff on TR and T2L. And then there's Matt talking about going back to basics with regards to song writing and specifically calling out the last 2 albums as being different from that. Anyways as with anything else, it's just my opinion and I can understand those who disagree.
