  1. Another way I think about it is that I don't think I would've been shocked to hear this song if it was the first song released after BHaR, but I couldn't say the same for USoE and Uprising especially.
  2. Well the verses sound very Absolutiony to me, and the solo and chorus while having some new things in there remind me more of BHaR than something completely out of left field. I'm sure the vocal distortion on the chorus contributes to it feeling more Musey to me, but that may or may not be on the album.
  3. I disagree. As I said before, it sounds to me more like what it would've been like if Muse had kept gradually progressing their sound from BHaR instead of experimenting with a grab bag of genres on the last 2 albums.
  4. The more I listen to this song, the more I love it. To me, this feels like a much more natural progression from BHaR than most things on the last two albums.
  5. Hopefully we get some more hints about other songs on the album in that interview. Like maybe whether or not the CE "sequel" is on it.
  6. Nah. That song had to grow on me, and now it's one of my favorites. The riff at the end is one of the best of all time in my opinion. I'm really hoping that Reapers outro is on the album. It's great.
  7. I think the new clip sounds a lot better as well. I'm sure the better quality helps, but I agree about the falsetto sounding much better this time. Looking forward to the album version! How can you tell? I still can't decipher the chorus one bit.
  8. Eh I think it's only bad if he means it in the metaphorical "love" sense. I think it's not so bad if meant literally, as the heart would certainly be an effective place to shoot to kill someone.
  9. I'm a fan of guitar solos, Pink Floyd are my second favorite band, so I loved this solo. Only thing I'm unsure about is whether I'll like the chorus.
  10. I was "i.wish.i.RAWR!" Yeah it was bad.

  11. There's not liking a song, and there's acting like it kicked your puppy and ruined your life. It's people's own fault if they seriously expected Muse to do another Forced In.
