Seeing fan reactions to deep cuts a few months later makes me think we don't deserve them really.

That sounds pretty clear to me although I'll let someone else in the actual country confirm. I'll be at a concert of my own so I'll have to sit this one out. Hope someone records because these are never uploaded anywhere and I've lost some good recordings because of it.

Better the visuals than the audio but I'd rather have no major alterations to neither. The idea of concerts being rehearsal for a movie though I still find ridiculous and against any stance we've had about caring more for the performance than how many things fly above our heads. I was also at Oakland. Many other people still got at least decent shows.

It's in Italy or something right? I think a decent crowd would make a way different atmosphere than what I saw.

I'm upset the Rome screening was just silently canceled, especially when they filmed that exclusively for the big screen at the expense of any decent cinematography. I do want to make up for it here.

In finally reaching the agreeing point, DI's connections to the story are very mirrored to real life, instead of completely masking actual experience in the fictional conspiracy world. The last verse is a big part of the story but if you didn't know that it wouldn't make a difference.

I still hold the theory the album is, at its core even if not directly, a release of frustration of relationship issues (that we know did happen).

But DI is that. At least the character's mental anguish is always cold, militaristic, and violent. It sets up the entire album for a reason. It has as much connection to the story, while still being personal, as Aftermath. But no one praises Aftermath.

The whole album is about a relationship though, and DI also has the drones and conspiracy tone in it. It just blends really well, how I guess the whole album was supposed to be ideally.

I'm not into the full on heavy mosh pits but I'm getting tired of having to push my way to the front rows each show just to get a crowd that isn't dead still. There's seats/back of the crowd always if you want calm. I don't really mind losing sight of the band if I've seen them before.

I don't know what happened to let Matt nail it on DI but he needs to bring it back because nothing else on the album came close.
