  1. Rome was also like the weaker set from the stadium tour and they still managed to gut that one pretty well. Muse finds a way.
  2. I'm glad we're getting some proper editing this time after Rome. Still nervous about the setlist.

    One Month To Go!

A second SF screening came out of nowhere in a better theater so I'm going to that one.
  4. The Hullabaloo book seems more accurate to the studio version unless the guitar is just buried under the keyboards. The drop D in the official is not mentioned but it's tabbed properly as if it was.
  5. Stockholm, while a staple now, wasn't for quite a while so I still welcome that.
  6. Stockholm in a very strange position but it does round out that middle section.
  7. I was surprised to see Bliss played that much last year. I really just skipped following that entire leg of the tour.
  8. Really wish we would get past region blocking everything.
  9. Has there even been fan votes in the US to be a precedent?
  10. Plug In Baby was dropped for like 5 months in the US exclusively back in 2013.
  11. I usually haven't seen US streams be region locked. But also have never seen one from Twitter before so maybe it's different.
  12. Can you all wait like a year before voting so I can save up the thousand I'd need in travel expenses so see the song live
  13. Let's throw in Madness after this to top it all off.
  14. Festival sets haven't been anything wild recently anywhere except maybe seeing a good rarity thrown in, but we've gotten good recordings of so many already. I'm more holding out for just some good performances.
  15. I will be at work when it's streaming so I can't be doing anything fancy.
  16. I believe it told me I was not in Germany so it didn't work hence my guess (I don't know German). Either way not in any of the 3 supported countries so I'll have to wait for an after-upload.
  17. But the premise feels kind of right. Even the big followers don't tend to consider the newer albums as high in regard but follow them anyways because there's still some fun there. And I guess it's enough to get new fans in even as they really ride on a few singles to keep the momentum going. If I were asked what separates them it's not just the grandness itself but the classical style they had in their peak albums. Big riffs and arena rock aren't new but pulling from the bombast of old Russian composers is not a style I've felt replicated very much in rock music. That, and they have enough variety to be appealing to newer music listeners. Pitchfork once attributed their success to making fun and easy riffs for bedroom guitarists and that's kinda true I think.
  18. This made me realize it's almost 20 years since Showbiz, remembering that when I started actively following the tours (with Teignmouth) it was a big deal to be 10 years since Showbiz. oh
