  1. It's amazing how some people believe that they're above placebo, which is exactly why placebo works. Can you describe exactly what's different with the mix and in which song?
  2. Well I thought this was a nice example and challenge that no one who swore by the new files dared to accept. Listen to it and judge if you think it's worth it? Jon was one of the people who praised the improved sound for Abso and BH&R but then he said later that he was reluctant to buy them. So...you know...It's very unclear.
  3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0-StTip2H0 0.58 is my favourite Muse moment right now. (Don't get too hyped, it's a minor thing). His voice is so relaxed in that performance. Makes me wish his tessitura was just a little bit wider so it wouldn't always sound like he was pushing out the notes.
  4. I recognise much of what's in the OP. I saw them live in 2006, first time I ever heard of them. After a few songs I though "Hey, this sounds kinda good", but I didn't really pay that much attention. Barely even looked at them. Then I began listening to them for real in...late 2007, possibly early 2008. I think BH&R and Hullabaloo were the first albums on my phone. I didn't fall in love straight away, but after about half a year I was in love, and spent soo much time watching youtube videos, listening to every song and buying all their stuff (Watched HAARP and Hullabaloo pretty much twice a week. Then came The Resistance. And after the first months of "omg new Muse album", I started to realise just how disappointed I actually was. And it's been downhill from there. Now I'm at a place where I can listen to pretty much any Muse song and be at least somewhat enjoyed, but the number of songs that are simply okay to listen to have risen to worrying levels on the past two-three albums. I'm not sick of Muse, but I also don't have that much of an interest in seeing them live, and I will no longer really pay for anything Muse related unless I'm sure I absolutely love the majority of it.
  5. They're not wondering if questions in general were submitted, because they obviously were. They're wondering if any of the US set-related questions were submitted.
  6. Matt has specifically talked about the influence that 1984 had on the album. For example the song Resistance is quite directly related to the story of the book. I don't know many comments you want on what you quoted but synths, autotune and lyrics about drugs and rocknroll are nothing new. It might be worth re-evaluating how unique you think the kind of music that Muse makes is, because stuff like "Few musical artists manage to get in-depth with modern crisis" really wouldn't fly in my book. EDIT: And make sure you don't use musewiki as your main source.
  7. You could literally just google "Muse 1984" to find sources. Good luck with your project...
  8. Amazing how many times some people see bands. I think I've seen a band 4 times at the most. But then again I WOULD like to see them again, so I guess I haven't really reached my limit.
  9. Honestly I wasn't that impressed by it when I saw it back in 2009, but then again I had awful earplugs and was severely dehydrated already at the start so the whole show was kind of a blur.
  10. It would be quicker to just search but here
  11. Have you actually seen GradeAUnderA?
