  1. They were always going to have a little bit of a similar sound, seeing as John Leckie did both Showbiz and The Bends. But beyond those specific albums there's hardly any comparison at all. Personally I think Muse are far more in-your-face than Radiohead ever were, and that Radiohead are far more intricate and (in my own opinion) much more intelligently constructed. That's not comparing, that's me showing the contrasts. They're different, and I like them both for different reasons. Well, in Muse's case, I don't really like them after the last couple of albums which have been quite boring to me.
  2. I already knew about that one...there's some funny ones at 4gifs.com as well, but you have to go through many piles of dross to find them!

Come and have fun in this thread telling the n00b how it's possible to be a big fan of Star Wars despite not being alive when it was released, she deserves a massive facepalm

  4. When they're doing gigs with just 15 songs, then yeah, they're doing far too many riffs. Going back to Hullabaloo, they did some riffs but still not the epic number they do on tours today. I think they could cut out most of them and add three or four extra songs, then things would be sorted.
  5. They always play with a click-track now, because of the lighting and screen effects. Which is a bitch because it leaves no room for any kind of changes at all. Everything they do these days has to be so choreographed to fit in with the stage show which makes it all boring. Muse need to go back to playing with just basic lighting for a bit so they can rediscover that live "edge" they're missing at the moment.
  6. I think this will be Muse's last tour, and they will split up in 2011. I reckon Chris will want to spend time with his ever-growing family because he's spent so much time out on tour in the last 5-10 years. The other two might decide to carry on with Morgan on bass, but I dunno.
  7. I am indeed, how did your round the world epic journey go? T'was fun seeing all your updates on the book of face

  8. Herro! How are you?
  9. Ach, not much...I've just been in hospital for sinus surgery so for the last few weeks I've been a bit out of it  still living in Manchester (with a fair few interludes in between!). What you studying? And are you planning on sticking about on the board? We could do with more people posting, it's gone dead quiet!

  10. It sure has, how the devil have you been?

  11. http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?t=66976 You should probably read this. It's stickied at the top of the support forum, so in plain sight.
  12. You should probably ask the company you bought them from rather than here.
  13. Either that or to pressure to have a law passed stating face value only - make it illegal to resell at anything above face value. But that would be lobbied against very hard by the ticket sellers because of their own reselling sites.
