New contract? I thought Dom stopped using Tama drum kits a while ago
  3. Haha indeed it is! All the piano compositions are mine and Lethe and Rotty (the other members) Make the background ambiance and bass rumbles so I do all the work...
  4. Sounds good man Everyone should really check this out..... http://www.myspace.com/noremnantoflife
  5. Um. Another project I've taken up... http://www.myspace.com/noremnantoflife should be some more songs up there shortly Something a bit different from me. Put the guitar down and for this one.
  6. Hahahaha Was there actually a guy who got pulled off by his mum that night? I could of sworn there was! Haha that guy I kicked sent a message back saying "Fuck you" After I sent him the "Dude its ok to be gay just keep your flacid dick away from me" such a good comeback he comes up with
  7. Haha! Don't forget the lack of originality you need to use it all properly
  8. New songs up on the myspazz. http://www.myspace.com/14786sam "A New Dawn" and "A Stab In The Dark". More to come in the next few days. Plus I did a vid for one of em. EnLObtgV8MQ They're not all mixed properly and still need mastering but meh tell me what you think.
  9. Isis are a very good live band and I'd disagree about the Russian circles vid. I found it pretty good and didn't get bored the music was good enough to hold my attention and they weren't just standing there. They did however seem a bit nervous? Maybe I'm picking up on things that weren't there.
  10. I can see why you wanted to make a shorter track the other one is pretty intense! I'm far from set in my ways but I do like hearing lots of possibilities in my music. You've done a good job
  11. Fair do's It does sound good and I would defo buy it if it had lyrics to it to keep me hooked
  12. well I like porcupine tree 17 min long trek. But it breaks up into five separate parts making it more interesting. Plus it all depends how lyrics are used in a song. Stuff that's all instrumental can get dull.
  13. I'm not having a go I'm just saying subtle little changes make the difference. A few notes here and there can always give it a boost.
  14. I'd disagree there entirely because no matter how short a song is people can still get bored of it because of to much repetiveness.
  15. Yep true. But there also has to be a bit more to a riff then it repeating over and over. Such as subtle changes with it to keep people hooked.
  16. Ahh I see. It sounds good don't get me wrong but I did start to lose interest quickly, I didn't make it to the end of the song
  17. You say not sounding like muse like its a bad thing? Anyhow it sounds pretty awesome. But it does feel like it drags on for a bit with the main riff. You can only repeat the same thing over and over before people lose interest as I've learnt.
