  2. Just improvise. When I play Supermassive, the part when Matt uses kaoss pad, I use the whammy pedal and you just fuck around soloing while using whammy, still sounds good whatever you do:LOL:
  3. I just finished a Prog rock influenced song. I always wanted to create a song like this style. Altough it's not Drop D, I actually preferred the Standard tuning for the main riff, sounded better. Still feels like a prog rock song imo. Here it is: [soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/lit-9/david-litresits-searching[/soundcloud]
  4. Here's mine: -Fender Strato Mexican (White) -Boss ME-25 effectboard -Roland Cube 40 Watt The thing I love most about the ME-25 is that you can record the guitar and transfer to your computer by a single USB cable. Easy! And also the number of effect possibilites are really high.Personally I prefer this board than single pedals.
  5. Haha, I don't know that Biffy song, so that was maybe just coincidence. However Montreal was totally Arctic, altough the riff is not exactly the same, different key and the second part is lil bit different. Thanks, yeah since I got that guitar tone like on Two Suns, I tend to use it in most songs. It has a nice sound.
  6. Cheers. In the meantime, I'm posting where I'm heading with my surf rock direction: Singapore Sing (The solo was totally random, but sounds good imo) Trails of Cinque Terre Surfing Back in Time (I added heavy octave to the surf rock sound)
  7. Here are a few tunes I've written. I have almost 40 songs by now, most of them are post-punk/indie influenced, bands like Interpol, Arctic Monkeys, Foals, Joy Division, etc. And nowadays I've been working on some surf rock stuff too. Montreal Vimanas Two Suns Mist of Certainty Say Hello To Strangers The Night Has Never Been So Bright Writing songs became my new hobby.
  8. Yeah you were right, sorry. I remembered incorrectly to the studio version. Lower.
  9. How is that lower? I've listened again. The vocals are not lower at all.
  10. The vocals sounded totally the same as the studio version. Not lower. lol. Listen again...
  11. -Sippe: "it's the top of Matt's range, he would have a problem with it, etc. -Muse nails it perfectly -yeah LiT is wrong that he said he could sing it. Logic.
  12. Yeah always the same excuses and lines when you are wrong.
  13. You won't reply cause you can't. You were just simply wrong. That's it.
  14. lol they played it after all:LOL: Yeah really, he can't sing it... The cover band is so much better.... Acutally he sang it perfectly and I was the fool to think he could do it. Cause you are always right Sippe and Fabri....
  15. Just implying that the cover boy can sing it, and Matt probably couldn't. Doesn't matter really.
  16. All right, I get it. We'll never find out though. Doubt they will play it.
  17. Or you because of the constant slamming. Not sure what was provocative lol. I wasn't the one who said that a cover band singer is better than Matt.
  18. So basically you are saying that the cover band is better than Muse. Cause that makes so much sense. Really:mad:
  19. What is not logical? You said they would be terrible performing Futurism. Someone linked a coverband playing it quite well. I'm sure playing that song wouldn't mean any problem for Muse. However we will never find out because they'll never play it live so.... Really don't know how is this not understandable.
  20. Sometimes they do those riffs/songs live (and have done in the past) but you can count in one hand how many times they played Futurism.
  21. And I meant that if a freakin cover band can perform the song this good, then why couldn't Muse perform it well? So yeah you can stop this wankery here already. And they never gonna play an insignificant long forgotten song anymore anyway so that's it for this thread.
