  1. Not musically The recording seems a bit distant; in the recording thread in Kit and Tab some people may be able to help you with that.
  2. Agreed on the robotic, but that's for me mostly the keys. A bit more legato playing would've made a lot more muse-y in my opinion I like that you chose not to do the organ sound!
  3. Sorry if I read your post a bit too condescending; the thread's been a bit negative (with idiot calling etc), so I may've been a bit on edge ;)

  4. I've only watched this one for now, and the thing I noticed immediately is that your note binding isn't that good, you play it too staccato. Try holding the frets down a bit longer, so the notes keep ringing. Also, I think you play the at the end of each section a bit inconvenient; try playing like this G 6 - 7 - 4 - - - - - - - -- - - - - - D - - - - - -- 4 - 0 - - - - 0 - 2 - 3 A - - - - - - - - - - - - 2 - - - - - - E - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - also: [soundcloud] [/soundcloud] How the fricking H can I record video in windows 8 properly? (also: fuck that crackle) Good program that does sound decently too? Rcommendations?
  5. I would say that if you get a decent bass guitar, you could record directly to line in. Then you could re-amp it (analogue or digital) to your liking. Guitar Rig has some okay-ish bass amps, but nothing beats the real thing imho. A nice pre-amp such as the aguilar tone port could work really well in a studio to recreate an amp sound. A selection would give you more tonal abilities (but that's more something for chedda innit?)

  6. I've taken over for Sammy... with Tom! ;)
