  1. Fuck that was a long time ago! I'm getting there slowly, just trying to get pay off my overdraft so I've got something for emergencies :p

Are you intending to be in London at all soon? I'm there quite a lot of weekends... x

  2. Hey! Life is pretty good cheers, moving back to London soon! It's been ages indeed... When did we last meet?! x

  3. Scratch re-edit/remix/mix of a few old tracks: http://cid-bea1f60af6754509.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/live%20mix%20v1.0.mp3 Mostly midi with audio on top so the band can learn it
  4. If there are roadies and a decent turn-around time, no-one cares - it's when the entire sound/line check is taken up by rearranging the drumkit that it gets annoying... As Tom says though - it's nothing personal!
  5. It's not the effort, it's that you can't really set much else up till the kit is sorted and it puts everyone else under pressure! Exactly:LOL:
  6. Ours are usually ok, just incompetent/too stoned Playing at a big(ish) festival was an eye-opener - people set our gear up for us and no-one batted an eyelid at our stageplot/input list ! Edit: Oh yeah, left-handed drummers are cunts - wastes so much time between bands Mind you, anyone who needs eleventy billion toms and more than a couple of cymbals is also a bellend
  7. A remix I just finished for an aquaintance: http://www.zshare.net/audio/6086038599869b1d/ Original here: http://mogulandtheprawn.com/excellent/the-lavender-assassins-we-liek-bock-323/
  8. I here u lyk boiz

  9. Just by the rest of the band! Mainly because most of our newer songs aren't quite finished - we've been concentrating on our live show this year and the recording side of things has slipped a little... Essentially our writing and recording process takes place at the same time, so it's only been mixed for personal use and there's a lot of stuff that we'd like to come back to now we know how it works live. I could send you a CD of what we've got down but there's a lot of scratch guitar/vocal/synth/bass
  10. We're working on it - I think we'll have stuff on 7digital within the next month or so... Most of the myspace stuff is pretty rough and I'm banned from uploading any more direct links
  11. If you haven't already, vote for TTMA here: http://www.eastmagazine.co.uk/blog/blog_details.asp?topic=1324 It's getting a bit silly but the comments are fun Oh and make sure you vote in every browser too Awesome stuff Scott/Adam/Theman!
  12. Vote for us please! http://www.eastmagazine.co.uk/blog/blog_details.asp?topic=1324 To The Moon Alice in case my spam is too subtle
  13. Cheers man! Yeah, tis a weird venue where the stage is kind of circular and the room wraps around it... The upshot being that the crowd is shallow but very wide and the dancing is spread out - there were loads of crusties going mental off to the right It was indeed, a cheeky little interlude/intro before our final song. One day I might learn to play it properly:LOL:
  14. It's a good start (although it'd always be better to get something more knobby), he just shouldn't expect too much from the vocoder... After initial experimentation, I didn't bother with it until I had to several years later (live translation of a cubase vst) as it's still a pain in the arse! Nah I think the pure vocoder setup is pretty standard, it just only uses eight bands whereas the hardware it's based on used twenty (VC-10)!
