garseys
Lol it would be awesome if they open with Space Dementia. They did it during the 2002 tour. Stockholm Syndrome needs to be moved up the set. (First night in teignmouth!)
Carolineee
New Born and Unnatural Selection shouldn't be played at the same gig. One or the other. yeah they left out New Born at Oxegen and played Unnatural Selection. tbh, id prefer New Born, but both are pretty immense live. Hopix
I'd just prefer it if they played both.
mon_coeur_s'ouvre
^ i agree. both at the berlin and the cologne gig i went to they played both songs and they are among my favourites live!

Same here, In Birmingham, they were both absolutely epic, they both NEED to stay.
Riveon
also, Electioneering Pearly's the only song by Radiohead that really stands out to me as being similar to Muse's sound. I wish Soaked could have been on The Resistance. 2:30 = awsome. Too cheesy. i miss invincible! So do I. I'd take it over Guiding Light any day. For some reason I would be interested to see or to have seen uno open a set, i just think the scratchy intro and powerful bassline would set the crowd off This is never going to happen, but yes, that would be amazing. Although it would only set a few people off; the rest of the crowd would be wondering what the hell the song is.

No, Uno is a great song, most people that attend Muse gigs are fans so i think it would be an awesome change! And fans that dont know Uno arent real fans! Ok, i'm being a bit harsh but i really miss that song! Never gonna hapen though!
Minimal
Muse should do a fans only show where they only play fan favorites and not boring singles.
rainingradioheads
And fans that dont know Uno arent real fans! Oh yeah, because if you don't know every single song by Muse even if you own an album or two, you're not a fan.

rainingradioheads
I'm not real?! No, you're just a projection... *ahem* What I mean is, how would anyone define a "real fan"? Because I'm sure many of those who think they are probably wouldn't meet all of the requirements...

I said i was exagerating a bit after that, but i still think that they can be fans, but not very devoted ones, to my standards atleast
Riveon
Once the initial novelty of the riff wears off, the studio version of US is not all that interesting. It could have been recorded so much better.
futurellama
US is so shit
Mizutsu
US is so shit It's definitely not their best, but I wouldn't call it shit. That's just being blatantly opinionated.

Mozza
US is so shit It seems so much better because of what precedes it on the album. As a stand-alone song it's kinda average (but still better than half of The Resistance)

As a stand-alone song it's kinda average (but still better than half of The Resistance) Exactly! After GL pretty much everything sounds like a breath of fresh air:p I dont think its a great song but i would like to listen to US live, i think it may be a lot better, its just a feeling (but then almost everything is better live lol)

MattXXI
Supermassive Black Hole is no good live. I see this and raise you with MK ULTRA not being all that spectacular live. It has so much potential. Lately ive noticed it just sounds bland, and the absence of the guitar during the "they're breaking through" bits just take away from the song completely. Needs moar UMPH live please. Edited July 18, 2010 by MattXXI
Mozza
they don't like playing Mk live, hence relatively poor performances of it when they do actually play it live. Even when Matt fucked up loads at the O2 it was still one of the best songs of the night
rainingradioheads
US is so shit US is one of my favorite Muse songs. Probably my favorite song when I saw them live too. Yeah I know what you meant, I was just being dumb. LOVED Inception by the way! Mmmm yes, I had just gotten back from it when I posted that
shadowkay
Supermassive Black Hole is no good live. I've said this for years an no-one agreed. Good work, your ears have graduated US is one of my favorite Muse songs. Probably my favorite song when I saw them live too. Why? its just a poor cover of this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=trbvx1U6Ry8
