FearAndPanic
Why is there the general consensus that Dead Star is a certainty to be played? Just wondering, since everyone seems to think it. - Band like playing it. - Origin of Symmetry era song. - Matt quoted 9/11 in a R/L interview, an event which partly inspired the song. - Chris / Dom have stated to fans that it's likely to be played. Resistance + BH&R Take a Bow Starlight Supermassive Map MK Ultra City of Delusion Invincible USOE Soldier's I Belong to You Hoodoo Resistance Undisclosed Desires Exo-politics Assassin Unnatural Selection Exo 1 Exo 2 Exo 3 Uprising (Riff) Guiding Light Knights of Cydonia Just think about it: Take A Bow into Starlight, EW. I'll leave Invincible alone as it would only ever work after a piano section but City of Delusion would be fine to go into the piano section. Resistance then Undisclosed Desires? Surely the other way around. Guiding Light. In the encore. Between Uprising and Knights of Cydonia? To be fair though all the setlists with these two albums have been shite

Take it up with Dee because I don't give a toss about Dead Star speculation, I was answering a question about why there is speculation in the first place. I think Take a Bow runs nicely into Starlight on the album. And I also think Guiding Light could work in an encore.

FearAndPanic
Do they? Why don't they play it more often then? From a technical point of view its by far one of their easiest songs to play and Matt's even gone ahead passed off some of the lyrics to Chris so that he has even less to worry about. Doesn't really make sense does it?

It's really powerful and emotional, which make it seem like it'd be a good closer, but I just can't picture them walking off the stage after and not coming on for another encore after.
