Hat
Well yeah they obviously DO have SOME proggy songs, that goes without saying. In fact I think I already said that Hmm, why are you responding seriously to my sarcasm? Argh the singles are always poor choices. Nah, they were good up until BH&R. ExogenesisP1
Hmm, why are you responding seriously to my sarcasm? Nah, they were good up until BH&R. Agreed, I think it all went down hill from there. Although Uprising was a very good single. I loved Uprising (Does It Offend You Yeah Mix). MUSEirik
SMBH Though I love the "I'll never let you go" part on Starlight! But yeah, SMBH.

Gemsy
But I was referring to the thing you were referring to with the thing that meant that thing wot it didn't mean. MUSE ARE POP.

Yes, I know. But that doesn't change my point about what I said when I thought you said that thing you later referred to and explained further. Horcrux
Starlight for me. I have a soft spot for it as it was the song that made me look into Muse further. Plus, I've never really liked SMBH. Live it's okay I guess.
Tasha_
I prefer SMBH to Starlight, although I like Starlight too, I suppose.
MrBreeeezy
Starlight and Supermassive Black Hole are both great but juxtaposing the two songs... the former really sticks out. Catchy melody, memorable lyrics, ghastly synths. Makes me cry a little when I have my little profound 'vacant' listening trance. ...in which I look like a dork... benign, at that. IamtheUniverse
Supermassive Black Hole can annoy me. Starlight is worn out. Neither of them are my favourites, but they can be brought to life sometimes.
Gemsy
Oh yeah, on topic, Supermassive wins by a long shot. Shake those hips!
edmunn
Starlight is better than SMBH on Studio. SMBH is better than Starlight live. It's tough..

BerriMuse17
You don't deserve to call yourself a Muse fan, every Muse fan i know says they are rock. I thought they're Alternative Rock. Rock is like...Slipknot. and they're ROCK. If u know what i mean:confuse:
Hat
I thought they're Alternative Rock. Rock is like...Slipknot. and they're ROCK. If u know what i mean:confuse: Rock is NOT like Slipknot. Carbo
Rock is NOT like Slipknot. Slipknot is Nu-Metal. Muse is alternative rock yes, but they still have a lot of pop-influences and songs. While you're right about the normal rock label being misattributed to Slipknot, they've pretty much grown out of the Nu-Metal genre. If it wasn't for faster tempo, slug-esque beats, darker vocals and more brooding melodies I could have easily mistaken their recent album for a Stone Sour record. Pretty much comes to show how much the word Alternative is tossed around like a motherfucker with pretty much every band these days. On topic; Starlight. xbroken_ideals
How I love all the beef going on here. Both are shitty pop songs, Starlight is cheesy but it's still better than SMBH.
microcuts-
Starlight. Supermassive is overused everywhere, for example twilight saga :/ Btw it's a mrs song.
nikite
SMBH is the shit! Confused me a lot the first time I heard it (very un-musey for the time it was released), definitely in my top 10 now.
