Hyper Bass
Hysteria, or Futurism? Just trying to get others opinions.
JackAndrews
Hysteria. but i expect if the hysteria bassline was used for futurism, and futurism used in absolution for hysteria, then i would have voted for futurism.
khfreek
My own personal favs are between Eternally Missed, Nature 1, and Plug In Baby. Between those two, definitely Hysteria.

adri_nimw
well as I play bass once i tried hysteria and it was very hard... still have troubles playing it hehe, and I also like the invincible bass line it may not probably be the hardest one but a very good one certainly! ChasingDreams
Both are good, but Futurism's always sounded like sex on bass to me, so Futurism

hyper_chondriac_muser
I get torn between Hysteria and Hyper Music in bass-awesomeness And yeah, Osaka Jam ftw!
Spider Cannon
I perfer Hysteria, but I love playing futurism too! Futurism is almost always the first thing I play wihen I pick up my bass. Jimmy Kane has a really fun bass line to play.
Nimpo46
Hysteria, but it's a shame they use a synth live over the top. Futurism would then therefore win it, except they don't play it live at all... So hysteria wins.

Rafer
I don't really know why, but I just cannot stand Hysteria anymore. Don't think I ever really liked it to begin with. I'd say my favorite bass lines would be Hyper Music, Glorious, and Muscle Museum is underrated.

haze015
Hysteria, but it's a shame they use a synth live over the top. What's wrong with that? Synth bass is made of pure win
Nimpo46
What's wrong with that? Synth bass is made of pure win yeah but it's a synth instead of his actual tone.. i mean, for the recording great, but it would be nice to hear 'just chris' for that riff. Phill
yeah but it's a synth instead of his actual tone.. i mean, for the recording great, but it would be nice to hear 'just chris' for that riff. think of it as synth bass with chris playing a clean line under it for more punch rather than the other way around... Nimpo46
think of it as synth bass with chris playing a clean line under it for more punch rather than the other way around... why can't he just play a distorted bass? where is the synth coming from? is it being triggered by his playing or is it coming from an actual synth via dom/click or is it a back track?
Phill
triggered or played by morgan i'd guess. it used to be a backing track. distorted bass would get too messy i'd imagine.
