Was looking at an AKG 214, but that's require a new sound card with two XLR sockets, as well as my new guitar and pro tools for uni and other general stuff Yeah I'm looking at getting another mic too, don't know what I'm looking for though I recorded so long using DI that I never really checked out mics, luckily my Pa has an SM58 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Originally i wanted to bring maximum "austrian hütte music/folkdisco/plebcore" but without the sweet vocals of Ötzi it would be meaningless so i had to drop the original concept. To be honest I was planning on just getting something much cheaper by M Audio but had a bit of spare cash at the time I was looking to buy so thought I'd splash out - very glad that I did though. It sounds great and is incredibly portable and easy to work, only downside is that it doesn't handle MIDI. I honestly have no idea who any of them are by, only suspicions about a couple of them, so I'd be really interested to find out who did what.
