WutDaFucksy Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 TIRO is great fun to jump around to live, but it does sound exactly the same every time Studio is alright.
Dominic. Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 The studio version of Time is running out pretty much sucks. Matt's breathing is really unbearable. Once you notice it, you will never listen to it again. Studio TIRO is infinitely better The studio version of TIRO is a billion zillion quajillion times better than it is live. In fact, TIRO is one of the highlights of Absolution but has become one of the most boring moments of Muse's gigs . I love the smooth, fizziness of the bass, the subtle instrumentation, the heavy middle section, Matt's wailing, the sexiness of the whole thing. It's not a million miles away from Undisclosed Desires, tbh. This. For me at least, it's just Matt's guitar that seems lacking compared to the studio version. Chris can nail the bass tone, Matt with the vocals and Dom with the drums, but the guitar just doesn't fit right. Maybe it's because Matt uses the p90 guitar, maybe it's the tone he uses it, maybe he should play it with power chords...but for the moment it jsut doesn't match the studio version
futurellama Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 Chris can nail the bass tone, *Morgan
Ryoma-kun Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 *Morgan I may be a bit slow but what do you mean by that? Does Morgan play the bass in TIRO... ?
Travis III Posted September 20, 2011 Posted September 20, 2011 The sound is compressed to death, for me the album is unlistenable. I really hope it gets a decent remaster one day.
knightsmuse Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 -Apocalypse Please is also boring (ooh, controversial?) You don't like Apocalypse Please? Same
LyraSilvertongue Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 You don't like Apocalypse Please? Same You crazy.
