  1. Hard for me to say. They have different festivals in different places so it’s all kinda spread but they’re usually in September tmk. Think I remember reading that Muse’ll be in Europe as well which at least narrows down the continent lmao. I’ve stocked up on points for tickets
  2. Could be wrong but I don’t think it’s uncommon at all for the crew to work other jobs between tours. Pretty sure Morgan does anyway as well. Doubt the break’ll be much longer than others, if at all. We already have Global Citizen this year and know they were thinking about the next album last year.
  3. Still gets me dead nostalgic watching it though. Drones is in that weird limbo of feeling like a long time ago whilst also being relatively recent for me. Maybe ‘cos it’s the first tour where I started going to more gigs.
  4. Global Citizen Pressure Psycho Good News Uprising ~Close Encounters~ Supermassive Black Hole The Dark Side Map Of The Problematique Thought Contagion Interlude - Hysteria - Vuilstamen ~Unsustainable~ Supremacy Apocalypse Please Cross-Pollination Explorers Dig Down (Acoustic) Madness ~Prelude~ Starlight Time Is Running Out Plug In Baby ~Guitar Noise~ Metal Medley Knights Of Cydonia
  5. Damn I remember hearing about the ‘muddy/blurry’ (dunno the technical wordage) faces and colour but...damn
  6. Only just getting round to the Showbiz Live CD now (new releases of old stuff messes with my bootleg collection blah blah) and I’m gonna be kinda petty and say it’s a shame it’s just 2 chopped up gigs that were already out there in full. Woulda been better to get stuff from the last Astoria gig in June, which was actually their own headline show. Or, if they were going for a kinda sandwich of early vs late from that era, something from the last Cavern Club gig in ‘99 or Cardiff Uni from the same Radio 1 tour. Though I guess I really don’t know what they potentially did or didn’t record at the time or kept a hold of over the years even if they did. But still, specific examples aside, woulda been nice to get some gigs we haven’t heard from before.
  7. It was originally meant to be on Showbiz but they just couldn’t get it ready in time (Matt’s vocals iirc), hence why it ended up on PIB and the Japanese edition. So it’s the only one I kinda ‘get’ when people include it on the album.
  8. Guessing you mean Vuilstamen at the end of Earthquake, it’s also at the start of the hidden track for that CD too. Yeah, nice to hear it finally on a studio recording. For some reason, I’d never made the direct tie to Nature_1 despite knowing both ended the same.
  9. Oh yeah, I guess it does sound more like his modern voice 🤦🏼‍♀️ swore I saw some people mention it before Well it bloody better get a release
  10. Guys, where is this piano Unintended I’ve heard people talking about and is now also on Matt’s insta? I feel like I’m going mental ‘cos I knew I hadn’t heard it on my listen through and can’t find it on the tracklisting It sounds amazing from the clip and is p much what I’ve meant any time I’ve suggested they do it live over the last few years
  11. Huh, I guess it’s good if you’ve not got OOM but I imagine all that stuff’ll find it’s way online one way or another anyway. Funny how Matt was fixated enough on that “dead and gone” part to put in both Sunburn and Recess but never let it reach a final version.
  12. Man, lists used to be so much easier to make when you didn’t have bloody 8/9 albums to account for.
  13. Not hugely. The early extended outro for Micro Cuts, no outro for Space Dementia, guitar outro for CE, Shrinking Universe is p much the early live version and Shine is acoustic. Honestly it’s literally just that ‘different take’ lice early version with some extra piano, you’ve p much already heard it. But if you’d still rather wait then I respect your willpower 😅 The remasters and interview kinda overshadow the ‘unreleased’ stuff for me though, apart from maybe the new early PIB demo.
  14. The bass in Agitated is frankly violent now, that’s the closest word to describe it for me. Way closer to how the song feels live. Genuinely, genuinely not sure what to do if/when Black Holes gets a good remaster. The universe needs these imperfections to keep us grounded I feel, like Knights closing SBE. The day either that OR an anniversary show gets announced, everyone block every form of online presence I have. I don’t know what kind of person I’ll become.
  15. Tbh really didn’t need my obsession with this band to peak again right in the middle of a big fat break Also the pain of Black Holes’ mix/master is actually even worse now that we have these absolute beauties Basically guys I think OOM was actually a mistake
  16. Not OOM specific but I’m a big fan of the new final Falling Down scream as well. Heard about if for a while on certain streaming places but never really bothered to seek it out. Used to hate both the screams in FD but now that there’s a progression to how each chorus is delivered it kinda works. Pretty sure he’s sung both at times tbf.
  17. Brill, might well be the best Muse live recording I’ve heard mix-wise. Right up there for sure. Honestly if they remastered Black Holes like this, I don’t think I’d survive. Side note but Agitated is particularly fucking brutal. Was honestly a bit taken aback on first listen.
  18. Would also like to confirm that the alt. Recess is in fact pretty much that heavier live version, just has some piano in it as well. Dunno why some people described it as mellow. Yeah IK, Shine Acoustic’s in the Origin Demos and it’s nice but the final version had so much potential for a lovely remaster 💔 Kettle Lead’s the better of the two imo, most similar to Forameus. Chris has some good backing yells on it, particularly the last scream. Turns out I was actually listening to the MM EP version lmao. The old bootleg download I’d had for a decade must’ve just had the album version instead. Showbiz has some noticeable new (or at least I don’t think I’d noticed them before) panning backing vox during the ‘rhythms of greed’ verses that are pretty fing cool though. Host, too, in the first verse. I think he kinda combined his definition of ‘hook’ with ‘heavy’. The examples he gives to compare are New Born, PIB and the Hysteria bassline. There isn’t really anything like those on the album I guess, and they feel it’s a big part of their identity (and they’re not wrong tbf). That’s why they started to throw stuff like the Pre-Sunburn, Ashamed, Minimum etc riffs into gigs and b-sides ended up having more of that. Though that’s one of the biggest reasons I actually love Showbiz so much, for being the only album to do that really. I feel like I’m potentially spoiling it for people who don’t have it yet though so I’ll try to stop, am just excited.
  19. So, finished my first peruse through. Really lovely package overall, totally lived up to my hopes in pretty much every way. The remastering’s good, from what I can tell, and the pull-outs and photos progressing along with the story really brings a lot of it home. Interview’s lovely, Beaumont really is the perfect choice. Lotta stuff you’ll already know but there’s still a fair amount of new takes/perspectives from the band and others that I found surprising at times and great to finally find out. Literally my only gripe are the omissions of FWTC, Forameus and Shine Acoustic. I know the first 2 weren’t really officially released but it just seems so weird to leave those 3 things out, particularly Shine, when so much effort has gone into every other facet. But god I love this band, come back soon lads ffs 💔
  20. Also BREAKING Matt thinks Con-Science is one of their absolute best songs and seemingly has for a long, long time. They also really like the emotional rawness of Showbiz and the only reason they’re slag it off a bit is ‘cos of the lack of big hooks (which is still silly but surprising). I believe the kids call it ‘tea’ ☕️
  21. God this whole thing is getting me so nostalgic (for a time I was only 0-2 for but y’know 😅). Idk about you lot but I’ve always had such a soft spot for the fabled Rocket Baby Dolls getup combined with the early demos, it’s almost like some folklore myth with the lack of photos from that show. Gahhh I’ve dreamt a few times of being in some ‘one night only’ Rocket Baby Dolls tribute band show down in Devon full of other fans with all the makeup and costumes and whatnot. Well, ideally the band themselves’d be doing it but lmaooo nah. Surprised no one’s done it though (or they probs have and I haven’t been aware). Getting to that now 👀 though I’m far from an expert on waveforms and mixing and shit so I can only give a layman’s opinion but hey ho Edit: on MM so far and....I think it’s good 🤭 weird to get used to something I’ve listened to religiously for 10 years differently tho ALSO THE PIB DEMO IS DIFFERENT TO THE ONE WE HAD BEFORE AND IT’S SIKKKKK Sober sounds so different the fucj
  22. Sitting through the NA demos in much better quality reading through the early RBD stories and photos, I’m in such a place rn 😭😭😭😭😭😭 ❤️ Gutted about Falling With The Crowd and particularly Forameus though
  23. Just been informed it’s sitting at home wistfully waiting for me to arrive back from work and open it with the love it deserves 😭 Edit: fuck why didn’t I take the day off
  24. Happened since the site overhaul and aye it’s piss annoying People have it, as you might expect. Not me unfortunately (also as you might expect) 💔 All I’ve heard is apparently the alt. Recess is actually a piano version, not the heavier live version from back in the day that we expected. Exciting if true, still waiting to hear about the remaster quality though.
