  1.

    Lisbon20103.jpgStill hot, of course. :eyebrows:

  2. I like your new pic too! :D

Noticed you cropped it a little. :chuckle:

  3. Thanks! I figured that was the gist of it. I doubt there's anything to it as far as the silly "dating" rumor, but it is curious them even knowing each other.

I'm doing okay, how about you? Do you like the new song? I don't know....it's still not really growing on it too much. I actually much prefer Guiding Light! :)

  4. I like ur new sig. :chuckle:

  5. Hello, Fernanda! Haven't seem you around too much lately. Hope you're doing well. :) I've not been in the PMT much. Do you think you could look at this short article and let me know what it says? I'm so nosy. :facepalm:http://www.hola.com/noticias-de-actualidad/10-05-2010/74056/

  6. Yeah, it's like looking at myself, lol. Nah, I don't watch TV too much. But I do like to sit on my ass and drink beer. :)

  7. Thanks! :D It's a "fat cat". Huh huh, get it?

  8. I figured I'd write you here in case you don't check the oldies thread... about the NME mag, I just realized I can get my mom to pick up a copy because she and my Dad will be in London the day it comes out. They left today for a month-long trip to the UK! I would love to have stowed away in their luggage! :D I really appreciate the offer, though. That is so nice of you!

  9. I saw where you were talking about the magazine scans on Setty's boat. Tofu did a 3 part transcription here which is much easier to read: http://board.muse.mu/showpost.php?p=7892780&postcount=9

    and here:

Of course, I'm considering getting the magazine anyway. :chuckle:

  10. Yeah, Muse has confirmed in various interviews and stuff that they're going to Australia in December, or possibly November. There haven't been any specific dates announced yet, though. I agree it's kinda sad that kiddo doesn't listen to Muse anymore, but even I get burned out on them sometimes, so it's okay. I mostly listen to other stuff lately. She told me she only likes girl singers, so I just kinda thought about who I have that she might like and came up with Blondie. Then I finally admitted to myself that Gaga is fun and catchy, so I bought her cds thinking it would at least be something we could listen to together. Of course some of the songs are not exactly kid-friendly so I have to skip them. My neighbors have corrupted her by letting her listen to Hannah Montana :indiff: but it doesn't seem to have made too much of an impact. :chuckle:

  11. Hi there! I'm great, but still spending ridiculous amounts of time on the Muse forum. How've you been? Will you be trying to see Muse when they go to AUS later in the year? My daughter is doing well. Only one more week of Kindergarten before summer! The bad news is she's totally lost interest in Muse and will only listen to Lady Gaga or Blondie. But it beats Miley Cyrus, lol! :p

  12. Hmmmm... I'm gonna try to come up with something. It seems like I'd have a bunch of questions saved up, but I guess I don't. I'm kinda curious about Chris and how he incorporates family time into the tour and what they do for fun when they come with him, but I'm sure that's a little too off-limits.

  13. Thanks! Awesome that you are so close to downtown, then! I know logistics are still largely unknown at this point, but close proximity can only be a good thing.

  14. I'm trying to orient myself with the MN area, starting from nothing. I found a downtown tourist map that shows hotels and the Target Center, and an overall map that shows where the airport is. I'm not sure of the scale. About how far is the airport from downtown? Also, what area do you live in, and how far is it from downtown? I'm wondering if maybe (assuming Reid is coming w/ me) I should use a travel agent to try to get a flight/car/hotel package if it's possible to save money that way. Or I don't know, it's probably more likely I can find cheap flights if I just keep watching fares and wait until September to book something. I'm such a planner.

  15. lol, I just replied on FB. It's just that the whole thing is iffy. Not like I'm planning on perishing in a plane crash or anything! I didn't exactly get hubby to agree whole-heartedly, but he was fairly agreeable, which was surprising. The way we left it was that I'd go ahead and get a ticket and if the trip didn't work out, I could sell it. So I got my ticket! I haven't mentioned that fact to him. He forgets things like that. But he knows when I say I'm gonna do something, I do it. I feel like once you add up all the things that will go into this trip (2 plane tix, rental car, dog kennel, etc...) it adds up to a lot. He's gonna realize it's ridiculous to go to this much trouble/expense for one concert. Of course he's not a fan, so he doesn't understand.

I presented it as a mini-vaca and tried to make it sound fun, so I need to come up with some fun stuff to do. This is really the only time we can get away because my parents (who are babysitting) will be out of town the last half of October, and hubby can't get off work any time in November. So that and the fact that I want to see Nicole and Natalia is why I picked MN. He would've preferred Denver, but I told him I don't know anyone going to that show and that's half the fun. The CA gigs are during birthday week (mine and daughter's) so that'd be a pain.

Anyway, I'm just not sure of anything. The other idea I have is to get him to just take a week off and let me go by myself. It would be cheaper (and I could stay with Nicole), and he would just have to take care of Clara and not work at his job. She's be in school all day anyway, so he'd have time to relax. His job is weird in that they want employees to take of entire week blocks off at a time, rather than a day here and there. (He's in wine sales). It's a weird system if you ask me. He gets three weeks, so it's doable. I haven't mentioned this scenario to him yet. I'm sure he hasn't given it another thought since the initial conversation.

Sorry that was a freakin' novel! Obviously I've been thinking about it alot.... :p

  16. Hi! :) I got GA for the Feb. Atlanta gig after some hesitation. (You know, I'm 40, not the strongest person in the world, what if I have to pee, yada yada yada). Ultimately I decided if I didn't at least go for it, I'd regret it for the rest of my life! Also, I figured if I had a bad time or got injured, either at least I'd know for next time, or it would all be worth it for Muse anyway. :D

However, once I was actually there, it was AMAZING! I'll probably never have seats now! I did the research (on that thread, mostly) and went into it expecting the worst, and it was a breeze! I had plenty of space to move and it wasn't rough at all. I was on the barrier, on Matt's side, but near the middle. Also, I was so worried about having to pee, but I figured the worst that could happen is that I have to leave and lose my spot. As it turns out, once I was there and the music started, I wasn't even really aware of my body. Sounds weird... But honestly, it couldn't have been a better experience. I don't think I'm talking out of turn if I say in general the US pits have been very manageable (and some actually kinda lame), and it's more the UK/European and South American crowds that can get pretty rough. I bought a GA ticket for the upcoming MN show and didn't think twice about it. (Now I'm just more worried about the logistics of actually getting there!)

Good luck with what you decide! :)

  17. David was on last night! It was the Idol Gives Back episode, so they showed a tear-jerker segment of him in Africa. :supersad: I wanted to FB you, but hubby was on the laptop.

Yeah, Siobhan is still on, but she's slipping a bit. I like Lee and Crystal best currently.

  18. lol, I just saw that! I was like who the hell's that??

    Are you watching American Idol?

  19. Ha ha, I put on my Muse tour shirt this morning too! For me it went exactly as smoothly as last time. :) Are you just going to the one?

I feel slightly better, but I've been camped out on the couch all day. I can't get my appetite back, so I'm extremely weak. I've been able to keep everything down, though and am drinking lots of water.

  20. Got my ticket! You? I've lost my freaking mind.

  21. Have you seen the latest tweets? wtf?

  22. Hey! What gig(s) are you thinking about going to? I might go to MN if I can convince my hubby. My parents are okay to babysit. I figured the only way it will work is if he comes with me (not to the gig itself, though probably) so he doesn't have to stay home and work AND take care of kiddo full-time. I'd feel guilty as hell doing that to him....

  23. Hi Numbers! How are you? I hope you'll finally get to go to a gig this fall! :awesome:

  24. I found out my parents will be in FL Oct 10-24. They're like "why you wanna know? Wanna go with us?" So MAYBE 10/5 would work. That would be almost exactly a year from when I saw Muse with U2 which was 10/6. It was on a Tuesday, too! Maybe it's fate. :ninja: You me and Nat would have so much fun!! I'd rather leave hubs at home, tbh... I really shouldn't be to quick to decide anything. I wish I had more time to plan!

  25. Dur, that makes sense.
