    Honestly? Other bands stopped existing for me post-2008 (when I first heard Muse). I sort of wish I was lying about that - then at least my friends would stop teasing me about my stunted musical knowledge.

    In Your World and Dead Star. I had only heard the live versions, and last night I was looking on iTunes for random Muse songs I don't have, and I downloaded the studio versions, and WOW. Intense and amazing. I can't stop listening to them!!

    Honestly, Guiding Light is the only one of Muse's songs that makes me go "Really? Seriously? I mean really? REALLY guys, what were you thinking?!?!". No offense or anything, obviously a lot of people here enjoy it (although it apparently earns you a smackdown for admitting it...), but it's one song that I can't swallow.

    This song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1zywSttByM "Striptease" by Hawksley Workman. Obscure-ish Canadian guy. This song has been a favourite of mine for years. Hawksley was my number 1 until I was introduced to Muse (and since Hawksley's 4th and 5th studio releases were disappointing...), so I may be a bit biased towards this song but I think that Muse could do it up good!
