I'm more or less "born again" although I don't have time to explain how that happened just now. I'll tell you about one particular experience I've had when I'm on later though.

Wow. 13 years is a long time. I'm young but God has moved in my life quite significantly already and I've had some experiences that are very close to my heart.

I have heard of Sanctus Real but I'll check some of the others out.

I don't currently go to church because there is none where I live. In an old town I played drums for my church. The biggest church I've been to is TACF (Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship) - not sure if you've heard of it but that's the type of worship I'm generally into but of course the type of music played is irrelevant compared to the actual message. I even got to play the TACF drum kit which was fun! What Christian bands do you like? I find a lot of them quite terrible but there's a few I really like. Hillsong United are excellent and I'm fanatical about them. I've seen Delirious? live as well. I also like Misty Edwards and MorningStar.

As for drum solos - I'm not a fan of them either. My old drum teacher was good at utilising them though. I was actually first taught by an ex-punk drummer who drummed in my old church. He used to just go mad on his kit full of the holy spirit and it was very powerful. He's a huge influence.

And nice on the drums thing. Do you play grade pieces at all?

Not many although I had a dive into The Screwtape Letters which is pretty good. I'm going to read it again.

The town I live in now (Oban) is very quiet too. I like it enough though.

Trouble is that the cost is high. No problem for me obviously (I'd pay £100 to see Muse) but I hav several friends either key or mildly interested in going. Obviously I want to get in the presale but I can't if they haven't made their minds up. It's rather frustrating!
