  1. I stand corrected. So he has 4 then? Edit: am I right in thinking 00 hasn't been used live? Need to check the wiki.
  2. Nope, 00, 01 and 02. Not sure which is the distressed one that was actually built at Mansons.
  3. James, the DL4 models are available on the amp, but it seems to be the higher end ones. Guessing most of the people hating on Line6 either haven't played a proper one or have just played the spider etc. And the DS2 makes you moar Froosh right?
  4. That's a great find, it's actually a fairly good recording too, and very interesting to see the GK on the Pacifica. . Surprising to hear them rocking Nishe etc,I still need to look at the other one, been stacked out with the kids today
  5. Its painted by hand using acrylics, clearcoared with aerosol. I baked them to drive off the solvents, seems to take forever otherwise. Either way, the paint still feels slightly soft, not hard at all. The bodies just happened to be on my table, I keep them on the house so they don't get damp. Edit: Thank you for the kind words!
  6. As promised, this is the issue I had with the Halfords stuff. The orange and white base layers are from Halfords, sprayed and baked. I left it a few weeks, put it in a cupboard and then got it out to find it had chipped and worn. You can't see, but it also picked up some 'texture' from a plastic bag that was on top of it. pretty gutted given the hours I have into it. I had the same problem with a Wooly Mammoth clone I sprayed sparkly green too, but I can live with that. [/url
  7. Don't get the Halfords stuff, it's full of plasticizers so it never gets fully hard. I have been burned by that, I'll show you an example in the morning
  8. The best tip is to make peace with the fact that the pain is probably going to chip and wear very easily. The usual Hammond enclosures just don't seem to take paint well. Zack uses some sort of automotive urethane lacquer to make his more robust, but it's still not easy to get the primer to adhere properly.
  9. If you find that surprising, prepare to have your mind blown: It's a Fuzz Face It's the same circuit essentially, the pinch knob is in series with the 100k feedback resistor from the emitter of Q1 to the base of Q2. This reduces the feedback voltage which throws the bias out, whilst also raising the apparent gain allowing the second transistor to be driven into cutoff. If you have a cheap Dunlop silicon ff, you could mod it to do the same thing by adding a pot.
  10. To be honest, I've had suspicions that he's not got the MBK2/Nailbomb in a lot of his guitars for a while now, especially after the Psycho tour.
  11. How could you forget?? And it's not just that, aesthetically I feel that the twisty Kaoss looked 10 bazillion times better than the mini kp. I really liked the look of the Sxc Stealth. On a slightly related note, the volume pot fell off that old FF yesterday
  12. Yes, it is mine I have owned it since I was 15, though its in parts at the minute. I'd go loctite over ptfe but if it's working don't mess with it.
