  1. Does anyone have any details for the Matt Black Matt used to Play Animals on the T2L tour? I'm sure it had a Duncan pickup in the neck, anyone got photos to save me digging out the Blu Ray of the Rome gig?
  2. Makes sense. Z switched pot suppliers after Plug in Baby made the FF huge, as people were wearing out the stab pots. True story. If the pictures i've seen are correct, some of the older ones are linear, but the new ones are definitely reverse log ©. Personally I've never had a problem wiring a log pot backwards, but it is what it is. EDIT: Forgot to mention, demz TOANZ is awesome. I think he should bring back the real amps.
  3. That sounds like classic grounding problems, you'll probably find the tone control works its way round and stops working again fairly soon. As I said before, i'd have it all redone properly. I'd also be looking at either moving or re-wiring your apartment, as that sounds like there's something fundamentally wrong and potentially dangerous with your mains set up. That weird current is one or more of the devices leaking current through your body. James, those strat pickups are so far from legit, I don't even know what to say. I've never heard anyone mention SD winding Jimi's pickups.
  4. A course can be a good primer, but there's nothing better than working in studios. Most of the practical stuff I learned I got from volunteering in commercial studios. And yes, depending on your amp it can make a big difference. I'd use a resistor in series too, otherwise it can mess with the taper.
  5. That's one of my favourite gigs, Microcuts anyone ? And no, I think at the time he was running the reduced pedal board straight in, having done away with the vg8 and multi amp setup. I think it's just the red channel plus all the srs beef from the motherbucker.
  6. I think it's safe to say if anyone knew anything, it would be on the internet in nanoseconds.
  7. The pedant in me really has to mention that it's not really the script circuit as it's not using the dodgy 741 opamps. There's more to it than just lifting a feedback resistor.
