I started playing in Christmas of 1993, so i'd have been 9 and 3/4. Not quite before you were born though. At that time I had an Encore strat in fire engine red. I still have it, and it's still terrible. Kids today are spoilt compared to the shite we had to learn on! tl/dr: I've been playing over 20 years and i'm definitely still shit.

Not the 60's, but before you were born young whippersnapper. Eggle had a factory in Coventry which closed in the late 90's, which was close to Nuneaton where I was raised. They're beautiful guitars, the small size is something I dig, being short in stature. At some point I'd like to get one but I doubt I will find a reasonably priced UK model. In red. With the satin finish and hardware.

Love Patrick Eggles almost bought a satin finish Berlin in red before I bought my Strat. Guess that would have been ~1996? That would have been one of the UK made one's, they were built close to where I grew up. Suffice to say it would be worth quite a lot more than my old Strat is worth now

That's assault. Prick. And no, not sure I do. Or do I? And Shadowkay, if you're on a budget, stop ducking about and just DI the bass. You will get much, much better results than a cheap Mic on a (guessing) budget cab, especially if you use some good prostate processing.

Wah probe is on at 0:10 then around 3:40 but not modulated. As unsaid its not clear what tone exactly is required. The majority of the song is phase 90 into a dirty amp.

Your question is a little vague. Which part of the tone are you aiming for specifically. Since you mentioned the wah, I assume it's that part you want. Matt's guitar has a Wah Probe built in, which is basically a Colorsound Wah with a proximitiy controller. Any inductorless wah should work for that tone.

Damn, that would have been my next guess. And no, sounds like it's not working right, you should have more fuzz than you know what to do with. Can we just ask ATDI to tour Relationship of Command again?

I have no idea. I spy three diodes in parallel, so in guessing it's a big muff derivative, but there's also a lone He diode, so I'm not sure. Can you give me a clue?! Will check that vid shortly.

I'm tempted by Leeds, but it's 200 odd quid for camping and there's not many other bands i'd like to see. HOWEVER, and i can't believe nobody has mentioned this, ATDI are playing. I would love to see them, so if Prophets announce, that makes a holy trinity and i'll have to go.

Oh right, I could but who actually wants to see them? There's nothing dodgy about my Fuzz Factor E's.. It's all top secret anyway. I'm still a Nando's virgin too. Almost went last month as there's one at Meadowhall now, but bottled it at the last minute. Story of my life eh?
