Hopix
Pay more attention when you listen to it then edit: fucking tapatalk signature Will do, doubt I'll be able to hear exact melodic progressions though. More than the same pop-structure chords or whatever, which most songs have anyway.
shiroo
What exactly have they stolen? Because it doesn't actually remind me of any U2 song. It DOES sound a lot like U2, but you can't exactly blame them for stealing a style, that's what Muse is. On the other hand, Explorers DOES steal melodies from other songs. The intro reminds me of where the streets has no name. But it might just be me.
Hat
The intro reminds me of where the streets has no name. But it might just be me. That's not exactly what I would call "stealing" something. And all the intos have in common is that they both have synths playing sustained notes, different notes I might add.
Dave.
I quite like Explorers. Its a song that always catches my ears when listening to T2L. Its nice, somewhat cheerful tone is a nice thing. When I saw it live, while it wasn't the most exciting thing ever, it was still enjoyable.
Tom//P
I also like Explorers. At least it has sincerity, a valued quality which seems rare for a muse song these days.

mskatie
I could see Survival replace/alternate with KoC on the next album tour. Supremacy is my least favorite opener of the three I've seen, the other two being Uprising and MK Ultra.
shiroo
I think Wub Wub on the hall tour last year was quite good opener. And supremacy at Emirates was awesome. !

forevermusic
Not really sure what you find that bad. It's just dull. I like U2 but it just feels like a tedious retread and I really didn't like listening to it on album. Its one of the few "always skip" songs on my iPod. Explorers is not bad on studio. I like the percussion in the verses, and the slight irony that a song which has a more positive-y melody has the albums most defeatist lyrics. But it took ages to properly get into, much like Madness did, and live it drags on.
ryanp16
live it drags on. That's because live you're like "omg we could get Sunburn or RBS next!! "

Dee3Dee
Your opinions suck. And now you'll make the usual joke about italy I don't need to make a joke about Italy. You need to shave that beard, Fabri. It's growing into your ears and making you deaf. Your opinions are terrible and nothing you say about Muse is ever correct. Even things that were once correct become wrong when said by you (except if I say otherwise).

serpentsatellite
I've only seen Exo/Uprising and Uns/Supremacy as openers. Exo was amazing, but I found the transition odd. Unsustainable I found brilliant as an opener, and transitioned well into Supremacy. Not sure how I would feel about Supremacy without it as a lead in, though. I would be perfectly fine if they dropped Survival next time around.
Jazzthief
I would be perfectly fine if they dropped Survival next time around. And Follow Me as well... and Supremacy... and Panic Station... and Animals.
