The only bit of feeling I get from the song is the bit near the end "take us away from here, protect us from further harm, resiiiiistaaaance", like he only seems to actually go for it then...it's just half-arsed. I love this song. In all its cheese and horrible lyrics and galloping horses and bad metaphors and… I agree. If you don't take it too seriously...it's utterly amazing. I'm 13 Plus, my mum's loved Muse ever since she first heard Muscle Museum on the radio back in 1999 She's played Muse to me my whole childhood, pretty much.
