I get the feeling that everyone is going to be getting there super early, damn :( Wish I could get there really early but my boyfriend is coming with and I don't think he wants to sit in line for more than a few hours.

I'll have to persuade him :awesome:

Try persuading him, you have your ways:D In the end, it's going to be worth it standing in line all day just for Muse. I mean the funnest part about waiting in line is meeting new people and having the right to brag to others how many hours you waited for them. At least that is how it has been for me when I go to other non-Muse gigs:D

I think it made more drama than it intended. I think people should just stay in line and switch off spots if absolutely necessary, instead of getting numbers, leaving for the rest of the day, then coming back and having to argue with other people that didn't have numbers, but who were waiting at the venue for more time than others. Unless it's an official box office or muse representative giving out numbered wristbands, then I vote no on the hand written numbers. Just show up and wait in line. That's the way it should be.

I am in complete agreement with you in this Jessica. This will eliminate unneeded drama and will be less time consuming than writing numbers on the backs of people's hands. I'm just planning on getting there and switching off spots with my friends.

I was just curious about getting a spot in line since we most likely won't be allowed to line up until later in the afternoon, closer to when the doors open.

I'll probably be getting up there around 10 or 11 a.m. (depending on traffic) from the Bay Area and I don't want to get screwed out a of a good spot in line.

Generally, if you get there early, people will see your face and know you're there early and go by the honor system and make sure you get your proper spot in line. At least, that's the way I roll . If there is a large enough group wanting to wait, Arco usually lets us line up near the box office around 10am. Before that, people usually line up at the entrance closest to truxel.

Alright. Once I meet some of you awesome Musers, I'll have friends in line. :D

Where is a good place to park nearby?

So I was curious...I have my two GA tickets to this gig and I am going no matter what. But my friend who wants to go isn't sure if she can get the day off. If she can't, she'll probably end up getting to the arena around 5:30ish. I'll be holding her ticket for her all day if she can go, but I don't want to piss people off. Would it be easiest just to sell it and go it alone?

I don't think people will mind if you let ONE friend cut in line before the doors open... Any more than that though could piss people off ;)

It would just be the one - hopefully she can just get the day off and spare me the scathing looks I'd get otherwise!

Hey there! I am from Ohio, but in a moment of Muse-induced lack of self-control, ... We're in section 120....anyone else up there?

I CAN'T WAIT!

Another Muse related condition: M-I-L-O-S-C. Seems to affect quite a lot of boardees!

A lot who post here got GA though. That's all they sold the 1st day of presale. 120 is good. Have a blast on your trip!

I also bought two tickets without knowing who I was gonna bring  I'm in the process of convincing my friend. I have 140 days to persuade her, I think I can do this

If she has the slightest inclination of the Muse concept, it shouldn't be too hard. ;) I'm just finding it harder to plan this time around because I'm GA and I can't roll into Arco 20 minutes before go-time. And that's the other thing....are people going to be nice if I have to leave the line to go the bathroom? I'm usually good for long road trips but waiting from 10ish in the morning to 5:30 will probably kill me.

EDIT: Oh! And is it only 140 days? I haven't counted it out yet.

Yeah she listens to Muse, not quite a muser yet, but I think I can convince her to wait in line all day with me so we can get barrier. She's also harboring a small crush on Dom :chuckle: so I'm kind of working that angle

And yeah, 139 days and some hours. 140. I know this because I actually have a countdown on my computer. :D

Aww! Maybe you can get a seat and go late just for Muse?

Hehe. I really didn't plan on going to so many! I went all out on So. Cal since I'll have to stay down there, not knowing they would play a Nor Cal show after purchasing all the tickets! :$ My job, boss and coworkers are going to hate me in Sept!

Yeah, I guess. Hate to miss any of it though. Crossing my fingers for a NorCal weekend concert.

Haha, well, I wish I could take a week and go to a ton of Muse concerts!

I know it's a while away yet, but is anyone going to take care of line control?

I heard that in Oakland, a Muser was writing numbers on people's hands for line-up.

I think it made more drama than it intended. I think people should just stay in line and switch off spots if absolutely necessary, instead of getting numbers, leaving for the rest of the day, then coming back and having to argue with other people that didn't have numbers, but who were waiting at the venue for more time than others. At Oakland I went with just my wife, and I liked being able to leave the line to "escort" her to the restroom knowing that our spots in line were held w/o inconveniencing anyone else. The system wasn't perfect, but overall I think it helped since enough people were on board with it, and I appreciated that someone was willing to step up and do it. Plus I seem to recall that pretty much everyone who waited any significant amount of time did get a number, because the folks doing it were actively looking for people just arriving?? Anyhow, like you said, I would prefer an official rep, but for my situation (party of two), what we had was better than nothing.

What do you all think the chances of "Neutron Star Collision" being a part of the set are?

Hard to say - I haven't found anything online that suggests that they will. But in my personal opinion, I hope they don't. Not because I hate the song (I really don't - it's okay), but I can't see where it would fit into their NA tour setlist. Especially when they are already playing songs like Guiding Light, Resistance, etc. ;) Unless they think Arco would especially enjoy it, but I can't see them breaking form for Sacramento.

AND they would need to conjure up a new graphic for the towers. I am in full support of a video that includes collisions of sparkly vampires. Or worse.... :chuckle:
