Levus Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 God knows why I did this, but I covered the entirety of the 2nd law in Famitracker (an application that runs off of emulated NES/Famicom chips, VRC6 chip is the one I'm using in particular). http://levus28.bandcamp.com/album/the-10nd-law Welp, I'm gonna go outside now.
Morinphen Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Very well done! I loved the not-so-8 bit Street Fighter II samples.
Darnu Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Great job man! Love it! I thought of doing exactly the same but then I finally gave up, haha. I only made 'Save me', but 'Animals' and 'Unsustainable' are coming too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVyxoQEOo84
Mc Queen Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 That's amazing! I feel like back in the Nintendo times!
Spectrum IV Posted September 24, 2013 Posted September 24, 2013 Awesome, and you get bonus points for having the patience to use Famitracker. I made an 8-bit Animules cover but it was with GXSCC.

Holy shit, Liquid State sounds like a proper boss-song! Love that one!
Blype Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 This is awesome, I love it! Brings back good memories of gameboy colour days...
Levus Posted October 2, 2013 Author Posted October 2, 2013 Very well done! I loved the not-so-8 bit Street Fighter II samples. Those samples aren't actually outside of the boundaries of 8-bit . It's using the DPCM channel on the NES, Awesome, and you get bonus points for having the patience to use Famitracker. I made an 8-bit Animules cover but it was with GXSCC. Heh, I vastly prefer the sound of famitracker over GXCSS, even if it might be a bit harder to make I generally feel a lot more satisfied with the results and it's a lot more authentic to an actual 8 bit system compared to GXSCC. Holy shit, Liquid State sounds like a proper boss-song! Love that one! That was the one I actually spent the least amount of time on funnily enough. It's a really straight forward song. But I'm glad you all liked it.
