I've recently played my teacher's electric which has 13's, which I imagine would be similar to an acoustic to play. It wasn't too difficult to play, but it certainly wasn't as easy as the 10's that I'm used to. I wasn't talking about anyone in particular! It's interesting that some people found it hard to swap from acoustic to electric. I've been playing since the mid 60's for about 10 years now, and I've been playing electrics with 10's the whole time...I don't even own an acoustic keep meaning to get one. My guitar has Dunlop Zak Wylde 10's on them and all my guitar teacher's guitars have 8's on them and when i play his guitars, its alot easier to play and ALOT less painful.
