Pran
Anything Buckley, though Grace would be best I think. Also, Never Enough by Dream Theater, since it's a bit of a Muse rip-off as it is.
Blamethrower
Ok......i want them to Muse up Pain by Jimmy Eat World, or Let's Stop Hanging Out by Reuben. Or The One You Love by Rufus Wainwright.
*Uberman*
Ok......i want them to Muse up Pain by Jimmy Eat World, or Let's Stop Hanging Out by Reuben. Or The One You Love by Rufus Wainwright. The One You Love rocks! I can defo see muse doing a great cover of that. But, tbh I reckon The Authority Song would be beter stylised by muse than Pain. I'd love to see an acoustic cover of 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody' - Whitney Houston. I've done it myself, and I reckon Muse could make it amazing! Gotta love the porn brows...Bill Baileys theory as to why all his songs have such slow, sensual beats.."thats a De Burgh speed..any faster than that his eyebrows catch fire." NinjaGoat
Ah yes Monobrowed purveyor of ultimate filth, muse should so do one of his songs. He does have a song called "The Spaceman Came Travelling"... It's got a wordless chorus that could do with being put up a few octaves. *EDIT* Just had a re-listen - it's got synth arpeggios and lyrics about how Jesus Christ was granted his powers by a man from outer space - how can they not do this song? fudgie
Take On Me by A-Ha. But seriously, he could probably do a half decent job of it, either that or hunting high and low...would actually be quite good IMHO I couldn't agree more, i think they could do something really interesting with this song, matt's vocal range would work really well and i would love to hear their twist on it(speaking as an a-ha fan), look forward to hearing it at wembley in nov!!!! jog
I'd like to hear them do something really old like The Cure - Lullaby - this could sound well spooky The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary - with heavier guitars Depeche Mode - Halo - could do with a bit of Matt operatic piano! switchbl@d3
The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary - with heavier guitars You my friend are a genius!! why didnt i think of that.... ill have to paint a white spiral on a black umbrella and take it to the gig in Birmingham, then i can spin it around untill Matt is in a trance then program his little head with this idea! jog
Ok thought of a few more ... The Jam - English Rose - such a classic could either be a diaster or perfect - would like to hear it tried Black - Wondeful Life - needs a bit of life injected into it - think Muse are the boys to do it Feeder - Buck Rogers - I thought this was weird video with the Elephant but perhaps Muse could go one better after KOC
