alyssa_ Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 There's a bunch of subtle little fills and stuff that Dom only plays live that I love. They're all pretty obscure and hard to describe though.
Shwissky Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 Dead star is hardley even the same song live as the studio version as of the 2010 version -diffferent intro riff -synths in the verse -new sustained guiter on build up to chorus -rewritten chorus featuring chris vocals -microcuts outro in place of solo/outro
supralover23 Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 TiRO where Matt hits that really high note once (or twice, in HAARP's case) during "you'd never dream of breaking this fixation". At about 1:44 in the video. pzpGk44UXKQ
Guest Bl44t44p Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 The crazy solo thingy in Muscle Museum ofcourse (variation on the EP version of the song), right at 1:00. Oh man how I love that part 9qSx5MfGk8w

Oh man how I love that part 9qSx5MfGk8w I hate that so much such a shame because i love the rest of the performance.. And i agree with the opening post about SS, really addys to the chorus for me
dagreatone123190 Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 The "You can't push it underneath the ground" in Matt's really posh voice during this tour

I know what you mean... it wouldn't seem like much when describing it, but I always think his little 'additions/tweaks' are an improvement to the songs; I love those lil fills
Minimal Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 Middle Riff in CE HELL YEAH, that riff rocks. Also the drums that kicks off Citizen Erased gets my blood pumping as well.
MattXXI Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 I enjoy the small things, like the three extra chords struck during the end of Map of The Problematique. He plays it on HAARP, and it's one of my favorite parts.
xX_deadstar_Xx Posted November 18, 2010 Posted November 18, 2010 If we can include things they used to do but dont now, i loved the second verse to time is running out from the absolution days (i.e glasotnbury dvd). Just thought it sounded so much cooler with matt doing loads of random slides and stuff rather than just sticking to how it is on the recorded version. If we have to choose things they do now, the little random noisy/riffy thing matt does after the first chorus in MOTP sounds much better than what i think is a drum fill on record, but havent listened to it in a while so not entirely sure

grabacr 31770 Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Basically no two Muscle Museum performances *were* the same. He used loads of different riffs here and there, different strumming patterns, all. Love that.
