    Are we really comparing Muse or more specifically Revolt, with One Direction? I mean it doesn't even sound like 1D. When have they wrote a song about fighting back against drones- never. Is it just because it's catchy and pop, people go oh "this sounds like 1D (or other pop boy band here) therefore it's shit" . I understand everyone has their own tastes and therefore their own opinions but I hate it when people try state it as a fact and therefore they are better then you for being "right". Sure I like it but I don't expect everyone to like it (I can see why people don't) but I'm not going to try prove that everyone is wrong for not liking it. Ultimately, the one way we are going to see what other people think about it is how it sells.

    That is not how I meant it to look If anyone is dumb as fuck, it's me for making this thread. I already have opinions so it's not like "but x and y said that z are their best song so I think it's their best song". It's not like I base my opinions on what somebody else thinks. What can I say I'm an inquisitive guy who likes to know what other people think. Just defending myself a bit here.

    I wasn't ever intending on starting arguments with this thread and I'm not trying to sound superior to anyone. I was simply asking if people thought there was a difference between what are your favourite songs as in the songs you like the most and what you think are their best songs, in terms of musicality etc. For example Supermassive Black Hole is my favourite song cos that's how I started listening to them but I think SS is better because of the feels it gives me. Yes this is "subjective", but is there a difference between best and favourite? If so are your favourite songs also what you consider to be their best songs? I was simply trying to start an interesting discussion, rather then create yet another list.

    1) Abso 2) OoS 3) BH&R 4) Drones 5) Showbiz 6) The 2nd Law 7) The Resistance Drones and BH&R tend to switch a lot, because they feel quite similar. OoS used to be above Abso but that was before I realised Futurism isn't actually in the album, so now I prefer the latter by quite a bit now. The 2nd Law was above Showbiz for a while, but now I prefer the latter. The Resistance will be in last place for all eternity- because there are are some abysmal songs on that album.

    Haven't seen them yet, so probably quite standard. Supermassive Black Hole- probably will considering it's pretty much a staple now. The Handler- high chance, considering it will be the Drones tour. Dead Star- Ffs make this happen when you come to Newcastle, Muse! Stockholm Syndrome- Would be pretty pissed off if I didn't hear it! Hysteria- See above. Part of me would just like to see Guiding Light just to kill the mood. Just that masochistic side of me. EDIT: Oh fuck, there is no space for Assassin. 5 songs is not enough!
