    Matt said the narrative comes to an end in Aftermath and that The Globalist has its own self-contained narrative. There'll probably be some thematic continuation though.

    Listening to Dead Inside followed by Psycho and Reapers. Man, I'm going to adore this album.

    I've come around to this being the opener, I did expect something bigger/bombastic but I think Dead Inside works so much better as it is.

    I'm reappraising Dead Inside, it's now a definite 9/10 track.

    I think I'd really like that. Maybe a blend of Blackout/Invincible with added piano goodness and soothing Matthew vocals.

    I don't think we'll get another song that sounds like Dead Inside on this album, assuming Matt isn't bullshitting (which I doubt he is), I like the promise of the album getting darker as it progresses. On that thought, Aftermath could be a mellower piano song.

    Good point, could do. Still feel it might have a more electronic sound to it though. On Drones as a whole, we've now heard three songs from it. Psycho and Reapers are both very much heavier rock songs which to me seems like it'll be more indicative of the overall album sound.

    Hopefully whatever they plan to do will be announced with enough notice for more people to be able to go.

    Definitely worth taking 15 mins to listen to it all. It's beautiful.
