  1. 2 standing tickets...bring it on!
  2. I dont really Survival was only there as an after thought and couldnt be bothered moving other stuff...thought Unsustainable out of the piano section might be alright though

  4. Was doing a 4 from each thing, but ended up calling it 3 from showbiz/the resistance and 5 from OoS/Absolution. Then kept Isolated System as an encore break kind of song. Then added Dead Star just for good measure... Fair to say the 4 from each album thing kind of failed (Whats He Building) Dead Star Supermassive Black Hole Interlude + Hysteria MK Ultra Follow Me Map of the Problematique Butterflies and Hurricanes Sunburn Apocalypse Please Unsustainable Supremacy Citizen Erased New Born + Riffs MWAH + Knights of Cydonia Muscle Museum Time is Running Out Bliss Showbiz + Ashamed Outro (Isolated System) Uprising Plug in Baby Survival Exogensis: Symphony Part 1 (Overture) Micro Cuts Stockholm Syndrome Take a Bow

  7. I really dont see any reason why rarer OoS songs couldn't make an appearance through the tour, maybe just like 1 or 2 a night. Makes sense to play them now as they've all got new graphics and been reworked to suit the band now. Although im fairly sure thats not how its going to work...
  8. Correct. Although i suppose its not out of the question they could use Forced In as an interlude type thing, or maybe play Ashamed or Yes Please riffs after SS/New Born, which would still be fairly awesome
  9. I would love it If they could alternate Space Dementia/Apocalypse Please/RBS etc in the piano section throughout the tour, presumably along with USoE or a new piano track. Would improve that part so much from the last tour Also, Hey...
  10. Hope you managed to get tickets for the O2 gig!

...wouldn't want it to be somehow my fault that you didnt

  11. Obviously i know they're going to play new songs on an album tour, just i think 7/8 every night is maybe too many (Dont think i've ever seen any band play so many new songs in such short setlists), so 'no room for anything obscure' is pretty much the point i was getting at.
  12. I think that will be about right, take those plus 4/5 off the new album and it still leaves a bit of room to hopefully rotate a few rarer songs each night. I think part of the problem with The Resistance tour was they played too many new songs, like on any given night you would probably have got Uprising, Resistance, UD, USOE, GL, US, Exogenesis pt 1 and maybe MK Ultra, and i just thought playing all those takes up too much of the set time each night really Also going back to the guitar solo thing, i dont really consider things like difficulty as an important factor...I just really like guitar solo's! So from that point, as Matt doesnt play that many of them the one in Invincible is one of my favourite Muse moments.
  13. The solo in invincible is possibly one of my all time favourite Muse moments so would happily see it played a few times just for that. Dont really see anything special in Guiding Light at all
  14. I thought they should maybe have played something like B&H/MotP instead of the resistance singles, still well known enough but so much better live And i think they way they did it was better to be honest, Feeling Good/Megalomania isnt the greatest ending to a set, and even though its predictable that riff at the end of Knights is always amazing
  15. I just remember in that and especially Resistance kind of almost feeling confused about what to do Had like 90 minutes of fairly lively songs and jumping round etc...then that Starlight isnt so bad because at least there's the clapping and a bit of singing along (no matter how cheesy), the rest of the singles/regular songs i dont see anythign wrong with live
  16. I dont normally care, because i know they're going to play it and i'll probably really enjoy the rest of the gig anyway, but at Reading it was ridiculous how much it completely killed the atmosphere
  17. Fair point I suppose, but then im only really old enough to have had any interest in them since BHAR came out and since then it's just been satellite dishes, towers, aerial gymnasts and massive pyramids And i know that, but for example i loved the towers set up for the arena tour and thought that was done really well, just they could have done other things differently to improve on the show...the actual production side of it i really liked
  18. They're expensive but i dont think they're really overpriced, kind of the average for a band of that size really. Just for example i've seen bands like Foo Fighters/Metallica/Linkin Park etc and all have been around a similar price. My brother got tickets to see Lady Gaga the other week and they were pretty much double the price of my tickets to see Muse on the resistance tour...so could be a lot worse! Partly agree with this, although one of my favourite things about Muse has always been the massively over the top live productions. I think the issue about putting on 'good shows' comes more down to things like song selection than anything like stage design...
  19. it wouldn't make any sense for them to play anything smaller than arena's except for one off's/tour warm up kind of things. For a band that can, for example, sell out wembley stadium in minutes, playing small shows will cause so many people to not be able to get tickets and even more moaning about things than before. If thats possible
  20. I know this is digging things up from about a month ago, so might not be particularly likely/relevant anymore, but Metallica just confirmed a Stade de France show on May 12th (exact date listed on that blog), so there could actually be some credibility in it. I know the chances of Muse playing it are still very unlikely unless the new album makes a lot of progress pretty soon, but just thought it might be worth bringing up again
