MK Ultra was rare from the beginning to the point fans were begging for it to be played. Reapers, I believe, has not been skipped this tour up until now. That's what makes it so strange.

I still find it very weird for them to drop a staple from the recent album. I'll wait to see what happens at Oakland before concluding anything.

I knew they weren't going to do Psycho tour level setlists but the contrast has been really disappointing. Did they really think some promotion heavy show was going to cover every major fan? Not even US specific since they did the same in Germany. Most of the festival sets were a lot weaker too, the upsides were common songs and not rare ones.

I'd say later TR setlists were better than the average arena setlists we're getting now. And it's only fair to compare arenas to arenas and not festivals or stadiums since they're known to change up for those. But also remember a big complaint was just how dull people found TR performances. Even the average setlists such as ACL on T2L tour is a lot more fun that many TR recordings. I haven't been all too impressed with what we've seen on this tour but I reserve proper judgment until I see for myself.

I don't remember Sunbun ever being played in the US or stadiums in that tour.

No they weren't Sunburn disappeared quickly in the first leg. Bliss, B&H and CE were mostly in stadiums and almost non-existant in arenas. MK Ultra was also only occasional and its alternative was Guiding Light. But Stockholm, New Born, and Map being rather common was much nicer than the current.

AP is probably the best luck I'll get. Hoping for that since it sounded nice last night. Also Psycho sounds better in arenas than I expected.

Makes sense. Do you work with this stuff? Maybe you've answered that before but I didn't see that post. Honestly the stage isn't incredibly more ambituous from a performance standpoint than the past couple of tours so I don't see these issues causing them to strip back. They just probably won't setup a stage in the same way like they avoided the towers when those caused problems.
