Gios
Hello! I've noted many references, in Muse'songs, at Classical Music...Can you help me to find all? The most easy to note is in United State of Eurasia (The Resistance): Chopin Nocturne op.9 n.2 in Eb Thank you a lot Gios:)
Novus Dies
Overture - LOTR film score Redemption - Moonlight Sonata NSC - Pachelbel's Canon Microcuts - Bach piece, forget it though. Unnatural Selection - New Born In Your World riff - Tocatta and fuge in D minor by Bach Many many more though.

meean
Either Rachmaninov's second or third piano concerto is glaringly obvious in Butterflies & Hurricanes.
Scott Morrison
Interlude is similar to Barber's Adagio For Strings, and the piano part in Hoodoo reminds me of Tchaikovksy.
Gios
Oh thank you:).... I recognized some pieces (Redemption as Moonlight sonata for example) but I wasn't sure.. Cross-pollination seem similar to Rapsody in Blue, I heard both but I'm not convinced....
Validus
Overture - LOTR film score What part of the score is this from?!?
L.
A few others: Rachmaninov prelude in G minor (bridge in Assassin) Ravel's Bolero (USoE) Philip Glass Pruit Igoe (the strings in Overture) Concerto 2 (I think) Rachmaninov (Space Dementia) Interlude is similar to Barber's Adagio For Strings, and the piano part in Hoodoo reminds me of Tchaikovksy. The piano in Hoodoo is Concerto 1 from Tchaikovksy. Oh thank you:).... I recognized some pieces (Redemption as Moonlight sonata for example) but I wasn't sure.. Cross-pollination seem similar to Rapsody in Blue, I heard both but I'm not convinced.... I agree with some Gershwin (I can hear some in IBTY as well) but Redemption and Cross-pollination reminds me of Liszt Liebestraume.

No, they are not alike....they are practically plagiarism. Interlude IS Adagio for strings, note for note. Hoodoo is the start of Tchai's piano concerto numero 1 It's not really an infulence, they pretty much just steal from other composer's works. Just so you know.

torelle
The Plug In Baby riff sounds a bit like Bach's "Toccatta and Fugue", but sped up (obviously!)

Hopix
I would have thought you'd slightly changed due to being banned, but it appears not so.

Oh and sorry, I forgot it was against the rules to base arguments on fact as opposed to soppy personal opinions.

m0hawk
The arpeggiated strings in Overture are similar to "Rivendell" from Fellowship of the Ring In Soldier's Poem, the "No, I don't think you do" line is taken from Ave Maria The end of Endlessly's chorus is from Liszt's Liebeslied and Liebestraum 3. ALSO, in terms of riffage KoC's ending riff is taken from a Dream Theater song. Can't remember which one though. Hyper Music's bassline is from Rage (again, can't remember which one. Something about a snake charmer?)
Enemy
Let's stop this from becoming yet another argument thread. God knows we've got enough already. End of NSC - Not sure, but it's Rachmaninov apparently Also Matt's stated that Sunburn was inspired by Chopin, and I'm sure that goes for New Born too.
