I've finally just got cymbals done! Just received K Custom Special Dry Hi Hats today as it happens! Any recommended kits? I do like Tama.. Even Peace I'm looking at, they make a lovely acrylic kit.. I own a Mapex Saturn in fusion sizes and I can assure you that they sound spectacular. 4 plies of North American maple over 2 plies of walnut for an exceptionally deep tuning range. That kit you linked to looks great (especially the big bass) but it's quite overpriced. Peace (and just about every other company that manufactures acrylic shells) uses Gold N Times to source their shells. I'm sure you could do better even if you had them imported. I've done three videos, Roulette Dares (crappy warm up vid), Viscera Eyes (decent) and Cassandra Gemini (only parts one and two, because my snare straps broke after that and it put me off). I even get the error on a 13MB, 40 second video. EDIT: I'll try Google Video. Nope, same thing. It's incredibly irritating because the file has uploaded successfully and then it has the 413. DOUBLE EDIT: My stupid fucking university network only allows me to upload files of less than 10 meg at a time. The qualiy is so bad you'll just have to take my word that I'm playing it properly.
