Just bought a Korg D16xd and Studio Projects C1 condenser mic/stand/cable, all for $240. Absolute steal. Very excited to dive into this. And yeah, it probably was a small scrape at first, but since that's where your arm rests, it probably caused the finish to wear down much faster There's a patch of bare wood on the back as well (doesn't look like an accident, but just from years of playing) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm pretty happy with how the modifications turned out, but I could do without the fuzz factory. I was even thinking of having it removed and the cavity filled (it was being refinished anyway) but it probably wouldn't have been worth it and wouldn't have made a noticeable difference in tone/weight/etc I've just discovered that the edge's all black strat was a '73 Alex, didn't you build a guitar based on that one a while back?
