Richard Misiak Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I just listened to it for the first time, my god is that a powerful song
Discoprincess32 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I just listened to it for the first time, my god is that a powerful song It's actually my favorite song my Muse, that and Microcuts!
LNM Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I know, I really love it! One of my favourites:) My sig<3 v
Nimpo46 Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 it's fantastic and though it seems like a fairly simple song, it's really well made with the chromatic style it works with... great stuff indeed
Ask Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 I think it's a realy good song except the beginning and the end. That i don't like. And it actually comes close to ruining the whole song for me. It's a shame cause the rest is quite good.
Steven_K Posted January 10, 2008 Posted January 10, 2008 really is an amazing song. remember the first time i heard it. actually got goosebumps
VladieShark Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I think most Muse fans would agree that it should have definitely been on the album. In fact, it probably should have been a single. Personally, I think it could be a fantastic closer for a concert (sadly, they haven't even played it a single time since the release of Black Holes).

Easily and Crying Shame too. BH&R should have been: Knights Of Cydonia Easily Supermassive Black Hole Map of the Problematique Crying Shame Assassin GOB edit City of Delusion Hoodoo Take a Bow Glorious
Carrotie Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I've never heard glorious When I get an iPod I'm going to download ever non-album song Muse has ever released
ADAM Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 really is an amazing song. remember the first time i heard it. actually got goosebumps +1 Ohhhh Des!

BH&R should have been: Knights Of Cydonia Easily Supermassive Black Hole Map of the Problematique Crying Shame Assassin GOB edit City of Delusion Hoodoo Take a Bow Glorious I almost agree. I don't think Starlight is expendable though. I know it's not their usual style, but it's well done, and the fact that it's stylistically different from most of their stuff actually makes me appreciate it more. Plus, it is indeed a commercial friendly song, and I do want Muse to get more popular (that would probably mean more albums) I would get rid of Hoodoo or Take a Bow (Hoodoo, probably...I just hate that Take a Bow became a closer for their live shows).

Take a Bow and Hoodoo are among their best songs! Also, they're both musically better than Starlight. Give Hoodoo a chance, play it on repeat or something. It's bound to grow on you, like it did us. An amazing song with an amazing climax.
Carrotie Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 I love the lyrics of Hoodoo but not the sound. And Take a Bow annoys me slightly. They are good songs, though. All Muse songs are good songs

NaZZeX Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 But I like You Fucking Motherfucker . I find it mindless and retarded beyond belief. I suppose if there were actual words, it could have been catchy.
andrew1900 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 i think glorious should've been replaced by exo-politics.
garseys Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 i think glorious should've replaced exo-politics. Now that post makes sense:D
crazy_mary Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 i like BH&R the way it is. every song there deserves to be in the album. but it wouldn't hurt if glorious is the 12th song or 11th rite before KoC.
Milky Joe Posted January 14, 2008 Posted January 14, 2008 I think it works in place of Soldiers Poem and Invincible, as well as obviously at the end.
ChasingDreams Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 I love Glorious, its such a powerful song! It sucks that it didn't make it on the album, it deserves much more than b-side status. It's probably my favorite Muse song [if I had to pick one]
*OoS* Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Should've been on BHAR, as well as Easily Maybe should've replaced Invincible?
Discoprincess32 Posted January 15, 2008 Posted January 15, 2008 Should've been on BHAR, as well as Easily Maybe should've replaced Invincible? I love Invincible and I'm proud to admit it! Like it even more since I saw the video and it live. Anyway, Glorious is always good. I listen to it over and over when I'm happy sad and everything in between! Just a genious song! I love my Invincible vinyl, I bought it off the Muse site initially.
Drumlicious Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Invincible rocks, it probably should have been in after KOC and take out Soldier's Poem or Hoodoo, because they're a bit turd imo.
Greta Garbo Superga Posted January 16, 2008 Posted January 16, 2008 Glorious is awesome!! I love it! It should definetly have been put on SMBH because it's so powerful just like the album. But I wouldn't replace any song. They're too good!!
