Sound like real horns to me, instead. They've just used a part of said marching band for the official version, and they've used the whole band for the alternative version.

Album Eight: Simulation Theory

Didn't they said they recorded a song that is "a bit hip hop with a big guitar riff" before SH was released? What if it was just that?- 5,585 replies

TDS > Pressure = SH > DD > TC at the moment for me.

Yeah, claiming there would be riffs changing every ten secs was quite of a low blow from him. I mean, I get you have to hype your fans up, but at least be honest.
-
Yes, it's got a pretty Jack White/Wolfmother-like fuzzy riff in the pre-chorus, and the bassline during the chorus is brilliant.
-
Let me get this straight for you: it's not exactly the "Abso"-like kind of rock, that I can guarantee, but I think it's catchy as fuck.
-
If you're so overexcited for this song, I can't even imagine in what state you're gonna be when they drop Algorithm (which I feel I'll defend to end together with you, btw).
-
You're not wrong, and that pisses me off a little. > That said, it's very catchy.
-
Are you kidding me? Hahahah? What the heck is this? You've got this edgy, bleak lyrics and you expect an instrumental of similar tone to support them, but instead... Fuck, they bamboozled us greatly!

Aaand nope, it's September 27th, guys.

It lasts just one second less than TIRO. Could we bet it might be released around 8 p.m. GMT?

On r/Muse someone made notice that Matt already mentioned in an interview that Pressure video will be set during a high school prom, probably with the band dressed as Rocket Baby Dolls. Could not only be a reference to Back To The Future, but also to Muscle Museum video where they play in an empty ballroom littered with balloons supposedly after a prom ended?

If it's the case in which none of them have been aware of this until now, I'm afraid some heads will go off in there.- 5,585 replies

Because otherwise it would have been an on going, futile war between us and them, like what unfortunately happened with Linkin Park's last album.

I think he's just fooling around. There's no way he and the other two wouldn't approve the marketing choices of their media management.- 5,585 replies

Album Eight: Simulation Theory
MartianSpaghettiRider replied to Claudia O's topic in Songs & Releases
He could be referring to all of that, fans, label and what not. I hope it's like that, because it would give the song more levels of interpretation. Their so-called "simulation theory" is linked to the fact VR tecnhology is improving and expanding to the point it may fagocitate our lives and offer to us escapism from the real world and life. Since Matt himself explained that escapism is among the album themes, we could say Pressure is about himself desperately venting against the pressure his life as a worldwide famous rockstar involves, to the extent he wants to break away from all of that from time to time and shelter himself in an ideal dimension where everything is perfect, just like a self-made dream (see Something Human). In this view, VR technology could become a metaphor of seeking an easy escape into dreams, without actually facing real life problems, which is something we all have to do at some point before they get out of our control (see Dig Down). Sorry if I got a bit carried away.- 5,585 replies

You're a great person. Not joking.

Obviously you can tell that after just one setlist for a major label conference. Yeah, sure.

They played Reapers as the last song in the setlists when they did the Psycho UK Tour back then, so...

Unsustainable now.
