    10-night residency somewhere, Brixton Academy, Alexandra Palace, The Roundhouse. That would rock.

     

    That'd be amazing. Don't forget Barrowlands though.

     

    On the off chance they do another small tour before the next album I hope there's a bit more notice than they gave with the Psycho tour.

    have you learned black dog? Such a brilliant riff. I only really know the first part of the solo, but I can't play it cleanly enough just yet.

     

    And do you mean in place of the kaoss pad?

     

    Of course. That riff is probably their best one. So much fun to play, though I'm not great at the solo either.

     

    Nah, instead of Mike Skinner, hearing MB rapping would be pretty amusing.

    Same here. I mainly remember the main riff and parts of the solo.

    And I know very few radiohead songs on guitar. Probably because I'd have to dispose of them afterwards

     

    I always play random notes from a blues scale in the bits of the solo I've forgotten and it sounds shit, haha.

     

    They should re-record who knows who with Matt singing it all in falsetto.

     

    That's understandable considering the number of Mansons you've got. But Jonny Greenwood has a tele with bits of a kaoss pad in it, so it's close enough.

    It's not too bad if you're familiar with other zeppelin songs. He basically throws all of his usual licks into one solo, or at least that's how I'd describe it.

     

    easiest way to do it is to break it into little pieces - you'll notice that some of the solo is the same lick repeated four times or whatever, then he switches to something else. If that even makes sense :nerd:

    That's a pretty good way of describing it. I learned the whole song years ago but never played some bits of the solos correctly, but after listening to zeppelin a lot the past few days I need to play it properly.

     

    And yeah, I tried doing that with paranoid android once. Had to change the strings and clean the entire guitar afterwards :LOL:

    It's not going to work. Believe me, I've offered 8000 french man euros in a magic second hand sock.

     

    And I don't know at this point. Won't it keep growing mojo? And it's probably a bit too heavy compared to his others.

     

    True. Bs thought he had the world's most expensive bridge, which I don't think he does anymore (might be wrong though :stunned: )

     

    Also, I'd be interested to know how Witz is getting on with his FRX. Just had to sharpen the knife edges on mine, as it wasn't returning back to tune after WHAMMYING

    Add a Mars bar to that and they might consider it :chuckle: Hadn't thought about the weight, but you're probably right. Was it especially heavy when you got to hold it?

     

    Is the FRX a bit flimsy, or have you been playing like EVH Knights too much? It looks a lot cooler than a standard Floyd Rose anyway.

    Not sure what will become of M1D1. It wasn't even on display when I saw it.

     

    They'll let me buy it

     

    I'm sure someone here said that someone at the works told them M1D1 could be fixed (thought it's possible I'm talking shit right now :LOL:). Wonder if MB would use it live anymore if it was fixed, since the finishes on his new ones are pretty different.

    I'm trying to identify some of the MoCs in the top left. Could that DL with the sustainer be ye olde trasher? I don't think they had a DL-1R on display before.

    Pretty cool that the FRX bomber is still there though, but they need to put M1D1 in so I can go and see it one day.

    Yeah exactly that. At least that's the only reason I can think of why he would have 3?

     

    And regarding Whammys, presume the 4 is just for standard weeoo whammy and the DT is perhaps for Unsustainable? It first appeared in his rack for T2L and all

     

    Makes most sense for having 3.

     

    Hadn't thought of Unsustainable. The DT might be used for Reapers (since there's one in the lyric video and studio photos) and it sounds better for the tapping + whammy bits compared to the 4, but that might just be because it's easier with the momentary switch.

     

    But we do know nothing, it's probably mostly controlled by MIDI.

    You can mic up all the amps and blend them in a mixer into the Kemper if you want the blended tone from all the amps. I've wondered it before and I presume it's maybe because he has an effect that he just wants on one of those amps so they still need to be separate, if you get me?

     

    Also maybe one's a backup, although he doesn't seem to have a backup of anything else in the rack

     

    Didn't know Kempers could do that, but that makes me want one even more :facepalm:. Think I know what you mean, like he might have one Kemper set for just the guitar on its own, and the other one/two set with delay or whatever to make a wet dry wet rig...?

     

    Yeah, the lack of backups is pretty strange since there were doubles of everything a few years ago. Interesting that whammy IV and DT are both there though, wonder which songs they're each used for.
