  1. I know how to make it softer, drop Stockholm Syndrome I really hope that you're right though. If this album is heavy though you can pretty much gaurantee heavier setlists, as they always play at least 6-8 songs from the album they're supporting.
  2. Suck it! I'll try to refrain from teasing you ;)

The towers were cool, but it would have been better without the bottom halves. Having them up in the air was a little boring to be honest.

And yeah, it is weird, considering I barely have a accent :chuckle:

  3. A sideshow is basically when they support their own tour while on tour with a festival. It's generally not quite as elaborate as lots of people will be seeing them at the festival instead, but they still play a proper show. For example, earlier this year I saw my chemical romance on a big day out sideshow and system of a down at a soundwave sideshow.

    Are that good? :)

  4. haha  Well, at least if they play BDO I'll be old enough this time :awesome: I want sideshows though! :(

  5. The end of 2010 in Sydney. I nearly saw them at the beginning of the year for BDO, but I was too young by like a month to get in :( I wouldn't have had this problem of course if they had just done sideshows as well... Prudes! :phu:

  6. I went through similar emotions when I got my tickets

  7. Oh my god that's so awesome! :awesome: when are you going to see them? You're gonna have such a good time

  8. Hannah, nothing is as bad as your spelling  It's funny everyone's story is so different. I've actually met someone who knew who they were and listened to them and saw them live before they released Showbiz! I doubt he's a boardie though :chuckle:

haha, I've learnt to ignore Dee's pessimism. I understand why he complains, but maybe if he hadn't tried to see them at every available opportunity he wouldn't have been this pissed  I agree the setlists were short and static, but 9 shows is a bit ridiculous to be honest. Well regardless I'm gonna see them as many times as I can, which will probably only be a max of three but who's counting? :chuckle: Yeah, I know that feeling all too well  I first experienced it with Bill Bailey, then with Muse, then MCR, then System of a Down and now it's Bill Bailey again. It's like a cycle

I know what you mean! Since I've started listening to Muse I've branched out so much! Yeah, I made that transition too  It didn't stop there though, I just keep going :ninja: According to this

musiclevs.png?w=500&h=1000 I'm both weird and "That Guy". I guess that's the most accurate description, but I kinda fit well in the others too, so I dunno

  9. based on past experiences it's somewhat likely that they'll play BDO, in which case yes, January/February next year. If they don't it's less likely till much later, however as they're becoming much bigger in Australia it's possible they will support both an arena tour and a Stadium one later one, in which case I would think that we'd get one both early next year/late this year and late next year/early 2014. Just speculation though.
  10. For some reason I thought I had replied

It only excelated from there :ninja: I think the first I heard them was when my dad used to play BHaR on in the mornings. I think I knew what they were called and I really liked then, but I didn't really pursue it any further. I remember hearing supermassive blackhole in twilight though and thinking "what is this shit?" :chuckle: I used to steal my sisters iPod and listen to random music and I think that's where I really started listening to them. I remember hearing Take a Bow and Starlight and getting this really weird nostalgic feeling. Likewise, you didn't need to know that, but sharing is caring :awesome:

I hope I do! Haha it's gonna suck hearing everyone talk about them when I can't see them for months :( but yeah, I'm gonna try and see them as many times as possible. I doubt they'll split though ;) seeing them at Wembley would be one hell of an experience. Lucky to have seen them in TR era? Not according to Dee :chuckle: but I think I am, because even if they did have static setlists I didn't follow them on half the tour. In the same way you can't expect to follow a play on tour and enjoy it every night, but this is a conversation for another time.

Haha, you sound like my best friend :chuckle: she's in love with this other band and always going on about how important they are to her, etc etc. but I agree with you actually. This band means a hell of a lot to me too. They're the reason I ever picked up a guitar.

I hope you get the tickets! :awesome:

  11. haha, I'm not fussed either way ;) I don't mind though.

Wow, it doesn't sound like we're talking about a picture of my face, does it.

  12. This is not a metaphor for my penis.

  13. I'm sorry :supersad: It needs lots of shrinking and I have to get someone to do it for me cos I'm stupid :'(

  14. It's my first too! :awesome: I wasa fan a before TR came out, but for some reason I barely followed the release, even though I was so excited I couldn't talk :chuckle:

They normally come for Big Day Out at the beginning of next year, and if they do I can see them there. It's annoying though, cos they never do sideshows which is a shame, cos that's where I'd really wanna see them. They claim that it's because they'll come back at the end of the year, which is a silly excuse because they manage to do like four legs everywhere else and they could easily support it here. Oh well, at least they put on one hell of a show! :awesome: I don't think our setlist was particuarly amazing, but it wasn't bad, either. We got stuff like Sunburn and MotP, so I'm happy. They important part is that they just put on an amazing performance. Plus, hands down the best lighting show I've ever seen! I wish I had been standing though. Next time! If you can't get standing in the end, don't worry though, you'll still have an amazing time. Let me know how it goes

  15. I will bb, I just need to shrink the picture

  16. This album has me so excited  I hope we get a new song soon, whether it's an official single or like USoE. Most of the people hating it will likely change their mind when we get a proper song anyway.

Awesome, I hope you get your ticket! :awesome: going with anyone or as a loner? Seated or standing? Standings the best  haha, they'll come down here eventually. Not soon enough though :supersad: I don't think I could justify a trip to Europe just to see a band play though ;)

lol, in one of them they were playing in this minuscule little theatre. The how was a failure and we ended up just talking  in the other one they played with the complete resistance set up (including towers) in a giant tent

  17. Oh my god I'm a fucking idjit  Okay, I know what I'll do I'll just put it on twitter

  18. WOAH fucking massive picture!
