  1. I'd say they're not near as big as Muse in the US at this point. Muse headlines all the major festivals. Incubus just plays co-headlining shows and shows up much lower on the bill than Muse on festival lineups.
  2. I could see Incubus supporting Muse in the US. They just released the first half of their new album and Dom Anderson manages their tours as well as Muse's I believe. Though they may not see themselves as a support band. Tame Impala would be an amazing support. Dom mentioned them being one of his favorite acts at Coachella.
  3. Haha there are definitely songs not on the set that I like more than Twin, I just put it there because it'd be the biggest surprise (even compared to the others), and these days I think it could sound really awesome live.
  4. This would be a very unrealistically heavy stadium show. I think the flow is mostly pretty good, probably a couple weak spots, but these were the songs I wanted to get on there. And I know we haven't fully heard The Globalist and Defector, but we have a good idea of what they sound like. Psycho Fury Map of the Problematique Dead Inside Mercy Plug in Baby Animals Micro Cuts The Small Print Twin Unnatural Selection Assassin Citizen Erased Space Dementia Showbiz Reapers Dead Star Bliss Knights of Cydonia Blackout The Globalist Defector Stockholm Syndrome
  5. I was thinking the same thing. Maybe with some dim lighting during the orchestral and slide guitar intro, before launching into the riff section. Not that I know the final structure of the song.
  6. This mentality really bothers me. You got to see the live debut and have even met the band. And I'd kill just to see Muse in a theater setting, or even just multiple times in a tour. Saying it isn't special anymore is ridiculous.
  7. Reapers > Dead Inside > Mercy > Psycho Psycho is just very disappointing to me. When I heard the instagram clip I was extremely excited. It sounded fresh and dark, but the song ended up being boring and repetitive even though that is (was?) my favorite riff. Also the drill sergeant bits still completely take me out of the song.
  8. Yes, he said it's heavy and very dark. I'm excited to hear it as it's the link between Psycho and Reapers. I hope it takes what Psycho brings in terms of concept, but makes it more serious and sinister.
  9. Seriously, why the secrecy? You were doing this in another thread as well. Don't be that guy.
  10. Not sure that was Matt's intention, though I actually really like that. Definitely a realistic and very dark take on it.
  11. I wish the song ended abruptly on the last "Dead Inside!" rather than repeating the beat and vocoder. I feel that would have been a more effective ending going into Drill Sergeant. Also because it begins suddenly that way, I think it should've ended the same, except now he is the one who is dead inside. Just a tiny qualm.
  12. Upon first listen I was disappointed just because I was kind of shocked that it wasn't a rock song. But I am loving this song. It's a great blend of styles, all done well imo. I love it more as it goes on, besides the 4 chord instrumental section. This definitely makes me feel more than anything off the last two albums. It has made me actually care about how the story with this character develops.
