  1. They are cataloging Muse live archives. Is a good idea, through the years you'll be surprised how many awesome gigs of awesome bands have been lost because that bands didn't care for their archives. Something can come in or maybe not. Our only hope is they watch something they like and want to share or sell to the fans.
  2. Nah, S/he is right, Muse has done a lot of songs since Megalomania, and a few albums. But i still think Blackout is a good song to finish a energy crisis themed gig. And Megalomania. Not sure about starlight ... oh wait... but i still want the guitars!
  3. The cinematography is my favourite in any Muse live release, the selection of songs, no. This has been discused before. Muse wanted a mainstream release full of singles and now they have it, considering that, they did a fine job with Rome. Maybe they tried to repeat the San Siro gig, but that was magical and unexpected, and Rome seems more artificial...
  4. Starlight in the stadium tour was horrible, compare it with other versions like this: [YT]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-j3clZRH3M[/YT] There, the song was powerful and had emotion, during the T2L era was bland and uninteresting. And is a terrible closer, Muse has wonderful closers like Knights, Survival, Stockholm Syndrome, Take a Bow... They tried to do something unusual to close the stadium gigs, knowing everybody expected Knights or Survival, but that light version of Starlight is an epic fail. Koc or Survival aside, songs like Blackout (with guitar), or Megalomania would had been better closers.
  5. It's not a problem, some old gigs have charm, i'm thinking in Earls Court, Wembley Arena 2006 and that Wembley 2010. They could sell them as ''legendary shows of Muse finally available''' You mean like Seattle? That will be wonderful, but that mean zero profits.
  6. Horrible grammar aside... what you don't understand? I'm basically saying they never wanted to do a proper release of Wembley 2010, like the HAARP gigs or Rome, for example, and we will be lucky if they decide to release the audio. I would want to know what Muse have in their archives.
  7. No what i meant is the gig is unreleasable, not for the fans, of course, but for the general market. Film a gig for a release is expensive, you have to add more camera angles, make the post production and add overdubs if needed. If i'm not mistaken, for the Wembley gigs they only had the usual crew, with cameras for the big screens and nothing else. In these case, they usually record only what the screen shows, that means a video with almost non presence of the bassist and the drummer, wrong angles, very few audience shots... that kind of things. Compare it with HAARP or Rome. with a lot of camera angles, shots of all members of the band, general venue shots, excited members of the crowd... Is just specualation, but i think they filmed the Stade de France gigs with real film cameras for a proper Blu Ray release and Wembley with 360 cameras for an online release, then the whole Reading & Leeds thing happened and they decided they will did a film of that instead, but the BBC never sell the footage to them, so they were stuck with the 360 footage of Wembley and Reading, unreleaseable for the general public in a traditional way (DVD/Bluray). Maybe if we are lucky someday we'll have the audio of Wembley and the film of Stade de France.
  8. Night 1 had its moments, B&H is always badass and NSC is fun, of course Wembley 2 is with Earls Court probably the best muse gig. My bet is we will never see it properly released, i think instead of filming it, they messed with the 360 cameras and the final product isn't what they expected.
  9. 1. Plug In Baby 2. MK Ultra 3. Bliss 4. Supremacy 5. Citizen Erased 6. Space Dementia 7. Assassin (Omega) 8. Time Is Running Out 9. Survival 10. Uprising 11. Fury 12. Butterflies & Hurricanes 13. Take A Bow 14. Blackout 15. Knights of Cydonia Little setlist, works alone but imagine if they play this every night plus 5/6 songs of the new album here and there.
  10. Same speakers i used for a while. I'm not saying vinyl is better than CD, i don't think so. I'm just saying the Muse CDs are compressed and artificially louder. I'm not an expert but maybe these vinyl rips have a different master or don't have the loud process, can't really tell, just hear the differences.
  11. Are you kidding? Tonight i rediscovered Muse. I have all Muse CDs but i found the vinyl rips and the difference is abismal. The CDs are louder, OK, but turn up the volume to hear better the vinyl rips and BOOM! You can hear all these little details in the songs, all the instruments and not just a beam of sound. The voice of Matt is clear now and you can appreciate how good singer is, the bass of Chris is not buried under guitars and compression and you can tell how hard or how soft Dom is hitting the drums. You can hear what is Matt saying in Exogenesis, the ''Alien'' sound behind ExoPolitics, the 2nd Law sounds AMAZING! Uprising seems a new song...

  13. I rather see CE or Bliss than MM. I don't get the hype for that song, other ones in catalogue are way better live. That doesn't mean i don't like the song at all, is still better than guitarless Starlight.
