Yeah! I was on Chris' side for Phoenix too, but I was in GA for that! And I was on Matt's side for the Tucson one. They were both brilliant!

Oh wow nice! I haven't done that many Muse gigs. I've known them for a while but I never really got obsessed until a year ago. I wish I had done that earlier! I would've loved to see them back in the day! And unfortunately I do not have GA. It was a last minute thing kind of, so GA was basically out of the question. Oh well, I'm super excited just to be going! Money is an issue so this is a big thing for me.

Hey! I was just in California for the feis this past weekend. It was super fun to go with all my friends. We listened to Muse on the way up. I took dead last in my competition. It was my first open and I guess I was way too intimidated. Oh well, just wanted to let you know.

Same with me! Well I went to the Phoenix and Tucson gigs and I'm going to the one in San Diego! I would love to hit all 3 california dates but I'm totally broke! How about you? What gigs have you done?

Aw man, that's harsh. People in our school are so different. No wonder you quit! I wouldn't want to be around that for very long. It can get so competitive that it doesn't make it fun anymore.

Yeah softshoe is so much more fun. I hated having to get all the rythyms out in hardshoe. That took me the longest time..to get all the clicks and whatnot. (my name is Kayley btw! confusing username is confusing)

Really? That's kind of harsh. Our school is pretty small so we are close knit and we don't have that many amazing dancers yet. But yeah..Claddagh is pretty big and everyone in there is good.

Woo! Everyone seems to be better at hardshoe. I've always prefered softshoe. And that's pretty awesome! 20th at your first Oireachtas...I was just happy to recall. There are still a lot of girls who haven't even recalled yet in my school. But yeah, I'm glad I do other stuff too. It gets a lot harder to focus and put your energy into that with a bunch of other stuff going on.

yeah, that would be frustrating. I had a big problem with getting out of Prizewinner. I always took firsts in my soft shoe but my hardshoe wasn't as good. My teacher finally moved me up after I recalled at my first Oireachtas. I was kind of scared that he moved me up. Yep, I do bicycling! I go to the indoor spin classes and I love them so much! I'm looking into getting a good bike to start doing real bicycling though.

That happened to one of my friends..she just kept getting seconds over and over. I felt so bad for her..it was a different girl that took 1st each time too. But now she finally made it to Open. Yeah..that was..convenient.

Yeah, I so had that mindset when I went into Prelim but I actually did pretty well. The entire time I was in prelim I took a 6th (my first prelim feis) two 2nd's and three 1st's. I was so surprised even on taking the seconds..but I am so prepared for that NOT to happen for a while now! Is she really?.. That's...interesting.

Yep.. But I'm hoping just to have fun at this next feis since I'll probably go up with all my dancer buddies. I'm glad just to be in Open after only a year of prelim!..But I know I'm gonna fail.
