  1. I haven't been on twitter in months. Maybe I should start going on. But then again assuming the 6th album thread will re-open with big news I'll probably just stick with that thread.
  2. I know we dropped this already but seeing as I wasn't here for the whole discussion this is what I meant. Even if it was accidental or something, I don't see how it can get more confirmed than that. http://twitter.com/#!/Dominic_Howard/status/97424256450822144 I'll leave now.
  3. 2010, which was mainly US and European festivals, became such a drag though. That tends to happen in the middle of the tour but it seemed almost more than usual there. The country favoritism didn't help much either.
  4. I'd say the Absolution tour was pretty basic. Sure they had lights and effects but it didn't go over the top with the exception of overusing backing tracks at first. Even the BH&R tour, which is more like today's Muse, was still energetic and did well at balancing performance with having a big stage. 2008 could be considered one of their best tour legs. I guess what I mean is toning down the theatrics (at least for me) doesn't necessarily mean going back to Showbiz era styles.
  5. She went to Prudential Center instead of the New York gig. Seeing as you only need to cross a bridge to get into New Jersey they're both accessible. And anyways, they played NY before NJ so even if you count them as one it's still a second night thing
  6. Location is a big part. I'm pretty lucky that they've been in the area 3 times last tour, but I know if I were in one of the boring states where no bands ever come I'd probably only see them once after begging to travel far. I think the reason for all that is why there are big venues. Each stop can get more people in that small venues couldn't. I don't think the band, for many reasons, would just want to say "tough shit" to their fans that couldn't get a ticket.
  7. I'd love to see them in smaller venues if they ever played them around here. The one time I got to see the band up close was much more special than a standard arena set. They only played there once though
  8. Their tour for The Resistance ended in August of last year and they've been working on the new album so far. They will most likely start touring at the end of this year through 2013, then some gigs through summer of 2014.
  9. I've always liked you too. Well OMT has somehow remained fangirl friendly, you can always get your fill there, but of course not everywhere. And it's pretty standard for the newcomers to be the punching bag for the older members. Stick around for the new album when a bunch of noobs come and you'll see for yourself It's a good life lesson to know someone will always consider your opinion wrong. Let me show you... Get out. As for songs, I've been hearing MotP a lot recently. Not that I ever stopped considering it awesome, but it caught my attention again.
